People still have an argument to make that Roethlisberger could've been had without trading up...without a dropoff equivalent to what was given up for Eli. If ifs were fifths we'd all be drunk. 2004 was an anomaly very rarely does one QB work out in the first round let alone the top three. If the Giants drafted Tom Brady on 2000 we would even need either guy. The funny thing about the trade and probably the most meaningful part isn't even the first and second round pick since they are statistically as likely to work out as a 3rd round pick but landing DJ Moore. They have the arsenal between draft picks, cap space, and a QB on a rookie deal...now they just have to hit a couple targets and they're well on their way. I think Moody benefits big time too...he is good, but now defenses might not be able to double him. They gotta go lineman now at 9...or maybe they jump on Bijon? It's almost becoming a lost art. With the influx of european/Australian style football/rugby kickers who hit for distance not accuracy. I do miss having a punter like Feagles can't crack 50 yard punt without a helpful bounce but he could drop that punt on a penny inside the 20.
