NeMesiS
Jim Harbaugh - Love to see coach big Blue. But I think he would hesitate to take the Cleveland Job when Kitchens is fired. Rex Ryan - The guy love Danny Dimes. Josh McDaniel - I think he will shoot for the Cleveland Job as well. Any other coaches?
BlueInCanada
Whoever we hire as the next DC is hopefully more established. Shurmur is around for the next few years boys. Better get used to that weak demeanor lol

Sephiroth
Stick with Shurmur the Murmur for one more season then get Belicheat to come out of retirement in 2021.
UK-Giantsfan
I like Mike McCarthy , I know it all went sour in GB , but he has a fantastic record. Still miss Spaggs as DC too

Tempest
Replace Bettcher with Rivera and roll the dice on 2020 with Shurmur as head coach. Can Ron Rivera develop Daniel Jones? I'd rather have Shurmur work on Daniel Jones while we get someone who can do a better job on defense. Defense has been a disaster from one game to the next. We have a better chance getting Shurmur to step down to OC then Rivera ever taking a job as DC. Would be my kinda ideal scenario. Shurmur realizes he's in over his head and never going to be a HC in the NFL, so he steps down since apparently he loves the Giants and stays on as OC/QB coach. Rivera steps in as HC/DC

He sucked his first attempt, but was successful after his time at USC. IIRC, Pete Carroll was the guy I wanted way back when Fassell was hired. This time around I can't say I'm a fan of any of the obvious candidates. Rivera is most obvious, and he has only like three winning seasons over nine years. Then we have a motley crew of college head coaches and pro coordinators, all with inconsistent results. Who is really promising out there, Greg Roman? Treehugger
We need better offensive AND defensive coaching. So why would we keep Shurmur?

Now that guy is a head coach, and he was successful after replacing Roman. I wouldn't take Ryans endorsement one way or another. Does seem like a pure scapegoat operation that they canned Roman after a loss in which they scored 31.
