BlueInCanada Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 Look it up where ever. Shitty news. Guy was looking like a REAL LB drafted by the Giants.
UK-Giantsfan Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 It really sucks . Hope he comes back strong next year Next man up I suppose
CrazedDogs Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 need Ogletree and Davis back, fast. Damn shame for Connelly, he's played very, very well.
Sephiroth Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 I thought he was our best LB. This is a big hit.
BlueInCanada Posted September 30, 2019 Author Posted September 30, 2019 I thought he was our best LB. This is a big hit. Pretty much was becoming that. Good find by Getty, just an awful blow though to the team.
Sephiroth Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 Great news though... I just looked online and Uani Unga is available.
NeMesiS Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 Dammit!!! I was looking forward watching this kid play rest of the year. He was starting to become a bright spot on a awful defensive team. Why do bad things always happen to me?
Tempest Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 Yeah that was a given the way he went down. He was playing well for NY Giants linebacker.
Nas Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Man this hurts bad.... its more devastating for his psyche.
BronxRik Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Great news though... I just looked online and Uani Unga is available. Any relation to Felix Unga?
Iceman_NYG Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 God damn it! This is going to hurt us bad against Minny. The only way to beat Minny is to contain Cook and force Cousins to throw his usual turds. Without Connely that job just became that much harder
JayD Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Man this really sucks. Kid came out of nowhere as a damn 5th round pick, and as a rookie he's played amazing. Oh well, I just hope he can make a full recovery and be back next year.
mastershake Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 So who do we sign to replace, or add depth? We're suddenly thin at ilb, unless Ogletree and or Davis come back this week. I'm not too comfortable with Meyo and Stupar as starters.

Tempest Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 I did like the way Josiah Tauaefa played in the preseason and well now he gets an opportunity. Now did they wave Fowler for him or TJ Jones? Doesn't matter, I would have moved Stupar and kept Fowler.

Doesn't matter, I would have moved Stupar and kept Fowler. Alex Tanney would have been another obvious choice, too. Fowler was third on the team in receiving.

WRs sure have really changed from week 1 to week 5 but this current core of Shepard, Tate, Slayton, Larimore and Core are the best of the bunch.
CrazedDogs Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 Fowler isn't a loss at all. He's terrible at playing the ball, and lacks any other special qualities to make up for it. Its not like he's Shockey or Burress, where they're dominant in other facets of their games. There was one in particular that was a near INT, and that ball was the only place it could be because of the defender over the top bearing down (and nearly picked it off)... Jones threw into the gap in the coverage, would have been in a good spot if Fowler slowed down at all and broke off his route.... but Fowler kept running past the spot. Zone coverage, dumb fuck.... sit down!
