  1. They will keep him, and give the new guy a few weeks to get ready. Looks like we are definitely in full rebuild mode, again
  2. So the sting was taken out of the first half and AZ’s first drive in the 3rd, cause I bet James Conner would run 25 yards a half. Won 700 bucks. Thought for sure the season was over at the half. I’ll be damned. These boys have some fight in them after all
  3. Well week one was even worse than I thought. I highly suspected a loss, but thought we would compete. Is this a reflection of the rest of the year? Yes and no. All the good teams are gonna run roughshod over our o-line. But there are lesser teams. After that performance I’m seeing a 6-11 at best. Hopefully they find a way to evolve.
  4. 6 days before we kick off another NFL season boys. As many of you know I don’t have a lot of faith our G-men will do well this season. Like every year though, I won’t miss a second of it, and will be cheering them on till the last snap. I came across some tickets for October’s skins game if anyone is going. Are you ready for some football? Time to kick the tires and light the fires. I can’t wait.
  5. Of course you don’t. I mean how could you? It’s easier to post a tiny emoji. But hey if you are cool with being lied to by people who made a fortune off this, good on you I guess. How many times can they move the goal post on the effectiveness of the vaccine before you start to question?
  6. Wait wait, I come here to talk Giants. Not doing this here. I pray you are all healthy and prosperous, injected or not.
  7. True. The elderly and those with underlying health conditions were effected the most. The other 98% of us it wasn’t a big deal. And the vaccine didn’t come as advertised at all. Pfizer’s own studies, which they were forced to release, shows that it was basically a nightmare for many. And is a gift that will most likely keep on giving into the future. It didn’t stop or even slow the spread. And more people have died with it than without it.
  8. So everyone else’s personal experiences are good, till it goes against the narrative?
  9. He has also went to bed between 8-830 every night without ever being asked to his entire childhood. I told him several times he could stay up later. I’ve never seen anything like it. Damn it. Maybe I should get that dna test.
  10. Lol sometimes I wonder too
  11. It’s come through my house three times. Wasn’t that big of a deal. I never got it at all. It was more like a flu than a cold though for my wife. My oldest son was mad he couldn’t go back to school by the third day he had it.
  12. Like 99.999% of people his age and in his health, it probably didn’t amount to much more than a common cold. Assuming he got it at all.
  13. The bandage comes off next week.
  14. Exactly. I don’t get the hype really. Sure he didn’t have 20 fumbles this year, but like, so what??? A NFL QB isn’t supposed to have 20 fumbles.
  15. This is the one major plus, and why in the future this will probably be a really good team. Just not quite yet. and crossing fingers he turns out to be everything we hoped. Till he does that though, you gotta understand it’s just as possible he never turns out to be a good, let alone great RT. No knock on him, these things take time, but as of right now going on last year, we have a very below average RT. While I’m intrigued to see what the new TE will bring to the team, he is injury prone and on the wrong side of 30. That LBer was a stand out on the colts, but he is joining a weak LBer crew. The WR sux. Yep if these guys pan out in 2 to 3 years we might have something special from this class. Maybe. Heck even likely. Just not this year. How many rookie linemen have we drafted over the years that instantly had a tremendous impact? He will go through growing pains just like damn near everyone does their first year on a NFL offensive line. Best we can hope for is he starts to get it towards the end of the year. In a couple games he carried the team. Mostly though he was just a better game manager than he’s been in the past. Which is a huge plus for the coaching staff. And I know you didn’t say he would be, but again, as of right now, he isn’t even close to being an elite QB. Take away the 700 rushing yards, which isn’t going to happen again, and things look a lot different. How many times does a 9 win team usually make the playoffs in our division? Not to often. If it had been any other year, chances are we would have never gotten a shot at the Vikings. Which brings me to my biggest point. Jones wouldn’t have looked like a dime store hooker being pimped out by the eagles in the second game. Not saying he should have won that game, but do you think any of the great QB’s of present or past would have went down like that? In there 4th year no less? You thin Drew Brees or Peyton Manning, fill in the blank, would have looked like a total bitch out there the way Jones did? No sir. We have a coach who so far has shown the ability to turn young QB’s into great QB’s. I for one am sick of us never being the team who has one. Especially now that we are paying our guy like he is one.
  16. Of course. But what’s changed?
  17. Wow to me is the serious lack of reality among Giants fans. Jones is never going to be any better than he is now. Everyone is sweating him over a 9 win very weak scheduled year. Every other year that he’s been here, he was a train wreck. I think the odds of him even surviving this coming season is next to nothing. No way are we getting another 700 yards on the ground from him without him missing time. Maybe a lot of time. You know you cringed every time he took off. It’s just a matter of time.
  18. I’m got us down for 4-5 wins, tops. Hopefully will at least be able to pick our new QB next draft.
  19. Yeah the secondary is pretty much trash. Might have two, at best, guys back there that are starting quality.
  20. I’m saying our line is trash. All but two guys at best.
  21. Good to see they are targeting priorities. Smh
  22. Yeah last year, after coming back from what should have been a retirement injury. If he was only half a spot, but started on the line, what’s that say about who is behind him?
  23. Yeah, sure he wasn’t great, but he was something. His absence, at least till this front office proves otherwise is going to be crippling if he isn’t replaced with at least someone as good. Plus he just got back, by next year he could be a beast. Considering what the skins paid for him, it isn’t looking to good that he will be easily replaced. Doesn’t appear so far they care much about filling any of the o- line spots.
