Sephiroth
Why did the Cowboys release Dez Bryant? Because he was: 1. Underperforming (800 some-odd yards last season) 2. Overpaid (17 million last season) 3. A headache.

UK-Giantsfan
i'm very surprised that they didn't offer him a pay cut ! ( Dak will be even further exposed now as a very limited QB )

Tempest
In a second. Dez is on the decline but Marshall is straight up washed up I really don't know what is up with Dez besides him now looking for some revenge. Heard a lot about Randy Moss being on the decline before he was a Patriot. Change of scenery works wonders for some guys.

Dragon
He'll go to the Eagles on a vet minimum deal and post 1700 yards and 15 TDs.

Maybe a slight infection, but not a cancer.

BlueInCanada
Well I mean according to every single media outlet and NFL pundit, we already have the most toxic player in the league on our team in OBJ. Why not get another apparently cancerous player in Dez?
Tempest
Honestly, why not kick the tires? We have no money. Reports say we have about $4.8 million and that might be enough to cover signing the draft class.

I thought the idea was to cut Marshall after June to free up like 6 million in cap space?
Tempest
I thought the idea was to cut Marshall after June to free up like 6 million in cap space? It is one of the ideas floating around. Does Dez Bryant wait around for that to happen? Bryant taking a significant pay cut to come here for one year and that is if Gettleman is also interested. Dragon
I thought the idea was to cut Marshall after June to free up like 6 million in cap space? I don't think we have to wait for June as this is the last year of Marshall's contract. I believe the issue is that he can't pass a physical atm and therefore can't be released. boohyah
If dez is smart,he'd sign a one year deal with the pats. Brady will make him look better and he can cash in the next year. Brady has a habit of making guys like this look better than they actually are. Eli doesnt.
