He may not be remembered as the most accurate, or what be in the same division of the likes of his older brother, Montana, Brady, whoever. But he will be remembered for one thing, winning. 4th quarters comebacks, playoffs, and SBs, he's won them all, and in a city known for chewing up players and spitting them out if they don't perform the moment they step into the spotlight. I think the Giants are going to sorely miss Eli when he decides to move on, because getting a player like him is a one in a era type of deal. Personally, I take the good along with the bad. I posted a thread on the official website (TAGF) that I was burned out by the mistakes that he makes. However, he is still a good to great QB. IMO, he compares similarly to Brett Favre. He will make a shit load of plays and mistakes all at the same time. He is absolutely the best QB in franchise history. As far as finding the next QB is concerned, I would prefer if they found his replacement while he is still here. That way, it will be more of a smooth transition. Teams rarely get good franchise QBs back to back like that. Personally, I wouldn't mind if they invested in a future QB that early in either the upcoming draft or the one after that.
