BleedinBlue
Certainly Manningham is not going to be expected to be the brains of the organization, but he has natural football instincts that has nothing to do with intelligence. His intelligence shouldn't be a problem with the position he's playing......unless he isn't smart enough to stay out of drugs. Depending on what you read, the Quarterback should be one of the smartest players (if not the smartest) on the team and the talking heads say any QB who scores less than 25 on the test means he is a major risk. But Vince Young was an outstanding QB who also scored "6" on his wonderlic. QB Dan Marino scored a "14" QB Jeff George scored a "10" LB Roderick Green scored a "3", yet went on to have a good career with the Ravens, and then the Forty-Niners where he was their top pass rusher RB Darren Davis scored a "4", yet was an all-Big 12 running back at Iowa State and the first player in school history to rush for over 1000 yards three times in a career. Ended up as a stellar RB in the Canadian football league with consecutive 1000 yard years along with 247 yard game in 2002 and 298 yard game in 2003 So bottom line: Manningham isn't going to be taking tests on geography and science as a Giant. His job will be to run elusive routes and catch the ball.
