Perry is reportedly a Tampa 2 guy, which has me worried a bit. That being said, I'm almost positive that during mini-camp he and Giunta were quoted as more less saying that we'll be a multiple front, attacking type of defense. I think I also read that were seen practicing a formation similar to the Four Aces one Spags had with Tuck, Osi, The Gap Toof and Kiwi all on the line on passing downs. Really hope we improve. I love me some Eli, Jacobs, Doutble-S but seeing the defense fail like it did towards the end of the year really, REALLY pissed me off. Didn't Kiwi basically say that guys were "freelancing" towards the end of the year and that they had problems communicating and buying into Sheridan's scheme. Big Blue is about the defense, that's our identity. I'm praying it works out in the future. We got a lot of talent believe it or not, but talent on paper means dick in football (just ask the Cowboys). BTW, anyone think Terrell Thomas is primed to have a solid year in 2010? Seems like a good guy. When I friended him on Twitter he immediately sent me a private message thanking me for my support. I think he wins the #2 spot over Ross in training camp.

This team angers me greatly. Our offense has been absolutely pathetic lately wasting away solid start after solid start. Sure, our pitchers will get lit up on occasion, but god damn it seems like lately it's us losing 1-0, 2-0, 3-1 etc. We gotta get Reyes going, it's no coincidence that when we were hot in June, our offense started clicking when Jose started getting hot after that retard put him where he belongs in the lineup, leading off. Jerry is the worst, how the fuck do you hit Reyes 3rd? I know I sound like a whiner, but man he annoys me. His lineups and where he places some of our hitters is dumb and doesn't imo give us the best chance to win. Of course it's not ALL Jerry's fault. It's just one big collective fail for the most part. BTW, Angel Pagan has been awesome this season. Gotta have him in the lineup every day. Fuck Frenchy. He has an awesome arm in RF but he is a terrible, awful abomination of a hitter. We just might have pitchers who hit better. He's insanely over-aggressive, and I bet Hack'em Francoeur weighs more than his on-base percentage. That's probably an exaggeration but I know he's OPS'ing at below .700. Rumor is we're trying to move him, and that Kansas City is interested. Please make it happen.

Pete, has D'Qwell ever played MLB in a 4-3 (serious question because I don't know)? Another possible MLB to throw into the trade rumor mix (not really referring to Coefield being involved)....Barrett Rudd. He lined up a little at end last season when the Jags used their 3-4 packages, but he's better suited as a 4-3 DT. He's too big to play end in a 4-3.

I would take Henderson and throw him in the rotation. He's not what he was, but he's still got something, and he's better than Bernard. If the price is right I wouldn't mind him. Also, he just might be certifiably insane.

I know there is more to a lineman than strength, but 45 reps is ridiculous. We have one of the best offensive line coaches in football to help him with his technique...hopefully this works out for Big Blue. Also, I REALLY like the Chad Jones pick. I was hoping we'd take a look at him.

Adrian Wilson is still one of the best safeties in football despite his age...he's easily better than Rolle IMO. Rolle loves to gamble...he lives and dies by it. I don't like giving him this much dough at all, but it without a doubt makes our defense better...hopefully he earns it.
