I think Zerbie would be a good pick as well. Heck, we have two picks coming up, we can get both.

 

Eagles just took a winner in Boykin......wow....another one I'd have liked. He'd have been 1st round had he not broken his leg in the Senior Bowl. He'll heal and he'll be a monster in the future.

 

As far as Thompson goes.....he's big, thick, and very fast. In his pro day he caught everything in sight. As a defensive end, he should be familiar with blocking. With the best TE coach in the nfl (Pope), he can be coached up and Eli will bring him along nicely. I think he's going to be a stud TE by the time the dust settles.

Well.....we went with another Beckum type small TE projected to go in the 7th round. I follow the Big East and I really don't see the league as tough. Hmmmmm.....so much for my all night erection from the first 3 picks :cwy:

 

Well it's a simple fact that not every player a team picks will turn out to even be on the team in five years.

 

Who knows we have Pope and Coughlin teaching the kid.
