My precious Eli? Climb down from the cloud. I have said numerous times that he sucks lately. I don't agree that he sucked all last year and if he did, then it gives me more hope with all the TD passes that he thrown. Just because I don't want to see him call it a career midway through his third season, doesn't mean I'm protecting him. I'm sick of hearing the bullshit about what we gave up for him. Go back and look at all the fucking draft picks that we had for the last ten years and tell me how many are still on this team. I could care less about a couple of draft picks especially since I had to wait a fucking decade for a QB to replace Phil Simms. Do what you gotta do and give up on Manning. Nobody is stopping you.

After Toomer went down, a few of us on GMB mentioned Ricky Proehl. Well, they were saying last night that the Colts might sign him. He's a clutch receiver from NJ who's parents were always Giant fans.

That's the fuckin reason why I hate the Jets, that and some asshole trying to tell me that Jeff Lageman was better that LT. Jet fans have always been green with envy. I had to put up with Jet fans as a kid during the Namath years too. It all = I hate the Jets J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets suck suck suck.

Do what you gotta do. Eli has been awful and many good QBs go into slumps. Right now, Eli is not a good QB but it doesn't mean that it's over for Eli. That last INT was a big mistake and they all make mistakes at the QB position, even last year's hero Big Ben.

According to TC, Osi, Brandon Short will be back and possibly Strahan & Madison too. He was on Mike and the Maddog. Strahan and Madison have an outside chance.

Frank Walker also gave up the TD that tied it up.

So your telling me that Strahan would have made the same mistake that Kiwi made yesterday? Your telling me that Toomer would have jogged after that pass like Plax? Your telling me that Eli would be rolling out to the right on every play if Luke was still in there? Manning has sucked lately but since you called him garbage, I will remind you of your words for the next 10+ years.

Neither did Aikman but the Giants have a much better team than Aikman had with that 4 Super Bowl win team.

Oh yeah, Dave Brown had an awful o-line with Jumbo and William Roberts. Shit, they couldn't even block well for Hampton, that's why Hampton had an awful career. Come to think of it, the defense now is so much better than it was back then.

Eli has a pretty strong arm. When he zipped the ball to Shockey in between 3 defenders yesterday proved it. Do you guys watch the games. Last year, they lived off the long ball. The short passes is where his accuracy comes into question. That's why the coaches call for long passing plays too much.

I'm with ya, this is the NFL and its always a roller coaster ride. Hopefully we're at the bottom hitting the upgrade.

I'm still not giving up on Eli even though he's in a huge slump. I have already seen what he can do. Getting rid of Plax will cut his mistakes in half.

Eli has been the only one blaming himself while everyone else points the fingers. What did you expect him to do? Get up and cry at the podium.

Eli needed to be called out. It might light a fire under him. Coughlin can't stand around and do nothing. After reading the Giants message boards for the past year, it wouldn't bother me in the least to see Eli go to another team and see the Giant fans cry for another ten years looking for another QB. Eli was never credited for his wins but was blamed for all the losses. That's a no-win situation and he deserves better. After hearing asswipe Giant fans call up local radio stations hoping he would get injured and reading posts that say the same thing, alot of asswipe Giants fans deserve their misery. Too bad the rest of us would have to suffer. I would excuse the juveniles because they haven't went through the rough times, but the dopes that were calling up the local radio stations sounded like they were in their fifties.

I wouldn't have been calling them great or even good should they have won that game. That was a game that they were suppose to win. Plax needs to go, I think many of Eli's problems come from Plax. I don't think Stray or Osi would have let up on that sure sack like Kiwi did. I'll give him a pass because he's a rookie and he has far exceeded his expectations. You can blame playcalling though. We were up 21-0 and it was 2nd and 6 when we passed that ball to Plax in the 4th quarter. We needed to be running out the clock. I like aggressiveness but sometimes we get overaggressive. Last week it was 3rd and 2 and we throw a pass in the endzone. We needed to get 2 yards and then we would have had 4 more shots at the endzone.

Jak Strouds idol Frank Walker looked horrible on that TD pass.

When Coughlin goes, so does Shockey and many others ALA Dan Reeves style.

That had to be a screwed up play with two receivers in the same area.
