  1. Too bad Steve Smith tipped that pass for an INT. The Giants would have won by 10 points.
  2. I thought Plax was at the city hall celebration. He may have not been on a float but I believe he was there.
  3. Half past the cow's ass quarter to his balls open up his left leg and see niagra falls.
  4. Meril Hodge picked the Giants to win against Dallas.
  5. He picked us to lose against the Bucs but he certainly picked us to win against the Cowpukes.
  6. No other QB would have scored a TD like that right before half time except for Brady and his brother!
  7. It aint the cold weather but it had a lot do with the 35 mph winds.
  8. And yet Ben (with his great QB rating) will be sitting at homewatching Eli play next week against the Cowboys......So much for the QB rating!
  9. If it wasn't for Eli today, the season would be over. He was largely responsible for todays playoff win and there was a lot on the line today.
  10. Just go look up Gillbride's resume. Hell, just look at his playcalling. Does he not realize that the flea flicker is a play that you can use at least once a year to keep defenses honest against your running game. Just look at all the 3rd and 5s that he called a deep pass. Where's the creativity? It's the same thing over and over. I know the players aren't executing either but there's a reason why the Giants WRs get no separation, it's because there's too much predictability. This guy better change things up or we'll be one and done in the playoffs. He needs to simplify this offense with less options but at the same time he needs to do things that haven't been seen before.
  11. Gillbride's system requires the QB and receiver to read the defense simultaneously as the play developes. If the QB sees one thing and the receiver sees another, the WR might break in while the QB throws an out. This offense needs to be dumbed down, better yet Gillbride needs to go. Buddy Ryan didn't punch him in the face for nothing.
  12. I'm sure Gilbride will have a different playbook than Huffnagel, so I think it's important even if it's voluntary for everyone to get on the same page.
  13. Wasn't Derek Brown drafted by George Young? Sorry if I'm misunderstanding you.
  14. You hit the nail on the head. Eli isn't comfortable and he's afraid of getting hit. His reflexes aren't allowing him to follow through. I have seen him follow through on a few occasions with defenders in his face but not consistently. I think that the more he gets hit, the better he'll become. Did Simms follow through on all his passes early in his career or did it take him a few years?
  15. It's pretty easy sitting back hear typing about Giants pride, run the ball with good defense. We don't have a good defense. They have rarely made any kind of defensive stops when it mattered the most, for the better part of 10 years. Should we run the ball and kick FGs and then have our defense give up the win on the last drive? Our all pro running back had six opportunities to get a first down to end the Titans game, to no avail. I'm not blaming Tiki, did anyone else notice the Titan's D-line penetration? Did anyone notice the Panthers D-line penetration that stopped Jacobs in his tracks last week? What will it take for Giants fans to realize that we don't have an o-line built for the power running game yet? We are not going to be able to dictate the running game. Tiki became great from his elusiveness by making the first defender miss in the backfield and the threat of a passing game. It's no coincidence that Tiki became great after Kerry Collins arm showed up. Sure, they'll be some games that will make you believe that we can run the ball well, but we aren't going to be able to make a living off of it. The coaches have made many of mistakes, but they can only work with the team they have and it's not the team from the late 80s. Maybe when they get a couple more Chris Snee like o-linemen.
  16. If you are staying at the Hampton Inn, you will be within walking distance to the stadium which is a good thing. It should only take about 15 minutes to walk to the hotel, where as it will take an hour to leave by car.
  17. Yes indeed, the worm is still turning. Funny how you didn't come back to bump your post today. Romo sucks!
  18. Even under John Fox, this defense folded in the biggest game against an awful offense.
