  1. i dont see what was so hard about #18--but i've always liked questions like that so maybe i'm just biased. and give maningham a break, there are a lot of dumb people at michigan
  2. he can do whatever he wants as far as im concerned. his career plus the superbowl gives him ton of goodwill as far as im concerned
  3. all it takes is a few bad bounces and key injuries. how many people were calling baltimore a super bowl contender this time last year?
  4. i can see them going 6-10 as much as i can see them winning the superbowl. no supporting evidence specific to the team is required--this is the NFL and anything can happen, that's why so many people bet on it
  5. haha i knew that's what this thread would be about as soon as i saw "hey midas". i disagree w/ them being dead last though, sure they are playing like crap but when they are tied with the rangers and pirates and one game behind the royals and nats i think the 89 win team who just missed a 3rd straight playoff appearance should get the benefit of the doubt. the braves have one more win and they are 15 spots ahead and play in a worse division. blue jays are only 1 win better and are 22nd. same goes for the astros (18), mariners (19), twins (23)--all with only two more wins and all with less wins than the pads last year. im not worried about them, the offense was bad last year too--the difference this year is the bullpen--particularly hoffman. the sooner is he demoted and heath bell becomes the closer, the sooner they get on track. hoffman is responsible for at least 4 losses by himself. and khalil greene has a hr already so i dont know what they are talking about there
  6. whoever fucked up bradley's knee last year and cost the pads a playoff spot is the worst
  7. hey US patriot, you know we won the superbowl last year right? who do you think brought most of those players here? who made the manning trade? who drafted osi when no one knew who he was? etc etc etc
  8. yeah so useless he only built 95% of a superbowl team
  9. Herc

    Yes!

haha no that's not snoop but that was what i thought at first too
  10. seriously, 50/50? way to cover your own ass
  11. we're also middle of the pack w/ strength of schedule--not bad for a superbowl winner. pats actually have the easiest schedule--but their division sucks so that's understandable
  12. big ups to cj wilson. not only pitching twice in one day but picking up saves in both games--im very impressed
  13. schaub's pretty decent IMO, he just gets hurt too much. also, we can add sage rosenfels to this list, when schaub was hurt he'd fill in and andre would still get his numbers
  14. i love andre johnson, that guy straight up produces even if he has a guy like carr throwing to him
  15. i dont know about the 'playoff disappearing acts'. he was great in the superbowl w/ philly and he killed us in the niners playoff game
  16. the tigers will be fine when granderson is healthy--he's the best player on that team
  17. kinda weird that zito has fallen off like he has. his curve still has bite but he can't locate as well as he used to
  18. whether it's true or not, it's really tough to prove defamation--especially if you're as famous as him
  19. i agree, we're pretty awesome. let's face it, we took about 80% of the most knowledgable and/or funny fans from giants.com. it was like a new franchise team starting up and being allowed to take any 10 players they wanted from the '08 giants
  20. wow, all those guys are on the same team?!?!
  21. i have no idea, maybe makemesomefoodho knows
  22. rey ordonez kendry morales isn't too shabby, and yunel escobar is going to be an absolute stud, those are the only three i know of though
