I have lost all confidence in Beatty. He was quite good, then he got his contract, and he's been abysmal ever since. I hope he's injured. I deeply hope he has a good excuse. But if he is what he's been so far this season, then he needs to go, just cut our losses and move on.

quick fix? we need like three or four guys on the offensive line. And as much money is sunk into Beatty, that is going to be really hard to do in just one offseason.

I want to know how the fuck the Giants are playing a Thursday night game on a short week against a team that had a bye week. What the fuck is that about, NFL? Not that its the difference between a playoff berth and staying home because this team suuuuuucks, but statistically speaking that's nearly a guaranteed loss; after seeing two 10-6 seasons with no playoffs, it sure could have been a season changer.

8-8 might get you the division, and at this point I wouldn't be surprised if the Eagles are the best team in the East. We've seen both the Cowboys and Eagles now; I didn't come away thinking the Cowboys were better than the Giants. The Eagles definitely are.

I think the biggest factor this season is the lack of practice time. Gilbride's scheme is unstoppable when everyone is on the same page... with so much less time to get on the same page than in the past, I have to think that is a big part of the offense's struggles.

I'm inclined to think that Herc is right, there was probably an option route on that play if the corner had inside position. But thats a topic unto itself. I hate the excessive option routes in this offense.

can't blame shitty refereeing for the Giants shitty team, but one of those intentional grounding calls (where he was falling down) was BS - there was a receiver directly in line with that throw. And the INT that was caused by someone grabbing his facemask too, total bullshit, no idea how the stripes missed that. There has been some bad luck. Not just this week either. The kind of bad luck that keeps an 0-5 team from going 1-4.
