  1. Ugh, I don't know how Tebow is still in football. The rest of those guys are done, I don't think a team going nowhere would pick one of them up when they could get somebody young with a still unknown ceiling. I know coaches are always playing for the super bowl, but I think some front offices are more realistic... some of them have to know their teams are going nowhere in the near term. I guess I'd be startled if the Giants put him on waivers. I don't think they'll take the chance unless they really don't think he has a future.
  2. LOL, I was just at a work function where a bunch of us were talking football and all of us were just dumping on the Cowboys, left and right, all around the room. So I said to the guy from Dallas, 'I hope you won't hold this against us.' And he just laughed and said, 'I don't care, I gave up on the Cowboys, now I just wait and see how they do before I root for them.' So at least he knows he's a bandwagoner and has embraced it. And he even lives in Dallas.
  3. I don't know who, but there are a few teams with QB questions. Oakland, Arizona, I would have said Buffalo but just remembered they drafted Manuel, Jacksonville, and maybe Tampa (maybe I'm the only one who doesn't think Freeman is a keeper though), then there's probably several other teams with backup QB issues. Unless the Giants vastly overjudged his draftability, I don't think he'd clear waivers. There would have to be at least one team out there going nowhere with a question mark somewhere at QB.
  4. no, I missed it. I honed in on him a few times, looked good for the few plays I really took a detailed look at.
  5. He was getting destroyed by journeymen on Monday. He's one of my favorites, there were a couple years where he was a dominating run blocker at left tackle, but for whatever reason he's not playing as well as he used to. Or... well enough.
  6. I've got a feeling that guy is a flake and will flame out.
  7. Darn, I thought we were talking about Greene. Regardless, Herzlich is god. To hell with the lot of you naysayers and heathens.
  8. Damonster.... I do not think we are going to regret having Damonster.
  9. indeed. Although I thought it had about a page too many.
  10. That's what I was wondering too... wouldn't make much sense to work on something to counter the read option the week of the Redskins game. And it sounded okay to me right up until the inside linebackers. Hold it together Tree, it's not the end of the world.
  11. lol, thats good. mikmak, how do you feel about RGIII being held out of preseason?
  12. Lord help us... Straight 3-4 to start 11s today. Rivers and Kiwi up on outside, Jenkins, Rogers and Linval down, Herzlich and Paysinger ILBs. That was a tweet I saw today from Tom Rock. Whats going on up there? Fewell suddenly think he's Bill Belichick?
  13. Are we talking about Tuck dropping into coverage ten times a game?... or ten times all season? Because if its the latter... great. He should be. If the former... well, Fewell has balls, I'll give him that. But I wouldn't do it.
  14. lol.... I think I may have complained about him once, Then he had a great run of games and made me look like a dick.
  15. If thats true, then why have the last few dickhead fans I've met in person been Green Bay fans? Maybe the local, original type GB fans are laid back and 'classy', but man, the nationwide bandwagoners suck. I think this 'classy fan' thing is just something that Green Bay fans tell themselves. (Giants fans too, for what its worth... we've got some real dicks too. Yeah, I said it).
  16. Lost... sent packing... whats the difference? Oh... wait.... big, obvious difference.
  17. Ah, now I'm starting to get it. I didn't know that. Williams really flashed to me a couple times, but you're right, he hasn't stayed on the field.
  18. from the article, I'm surprised Paysinger is ahead of Williams.
  19. Hah, and yeah, me too. I enjoyed a Chip Kelly interview the other day, regarding this and other issues, and the look on his face was priceless. Dude looked completely lost.
  20. What a surprise, at a country concert. There's a big concert venue just a few miles from my house, adjacent to an amusement park that I frequently take the kids to, so I'm often in the parking lot leaving at the same time people start showing up for concerts in the evening. Very consistently, show after show.. and I mean over and over again, it can't be a fluke... people at the country shows are huge assholes. Rock shows, old and new acts alike, everybody is nice, or at least reasonably considerate of other people. Same for the rap & r&b shows. But my god, I've grown to hate country music fans. I never would have guessed it was like that either.
  21. LOL! osi, who else on the Giants you smoke with?
