Treehugger
Mock draft 6.0: Wentz to Rams, Tunsil tumbles By Daniel Jeremiah | NFL Media analyst Published: April 14, 2016 at 03:46 p.m. » Previous Jeremiah mock drafts: Jan. 17 | Feb. 16 | March 1 | March 14 | March 29 Pick No. 1 Carson Wentz QB North Dakota St. Jeff Fisher had a lot of success with a big, athletic small-school QB in Tennessee. Pick No. 2 Myles Jack OLB UCLA The Browns bypass a QB in order to land a potential All-Pro linebacker. Pick No. 3 Jalen Ramsey CB Florida St. The Chargers could stabilize the offensive line, but instead grab a playmaker in the secondary. Pick No. 4 Joey Bosa DE Ohio St. The Cowboys need to upgrade the pass rush and Bosa also adds versatility. Pick No. 5 DeForest Buckner DE Oregon The Jags continue to revamp their front seven by adding Buckner. Pick No. 6 Laremy Tunsil OT Mississippi Ozzie Newsome believes in taking the best available player, and Tunsil is the best player in the entire draft. Pick No. 7 Jared Goff QB California The 49ers can't afford to pass on another talented signal caller in their backyard. Pick No. 8 Ronnie Stanley OT Notre Dame The Eagles could grab Ezekiel Elliott here, but they opt to fortify the OL instead. Pick No. 9 Vernon Hargreaves CB Florida Hargreaves has the ability to play inside and outside, and he has excellent ball skills. Pick No. 10 Jack Conklin OT Michigan St. The Giants love to go big in the first round, and Conklin provides a very physical element to the run game. Bigblue25
His intial punch is great, but he lunges at times and is too early with his hands. He doesn't have the footwork to recovery when he gets beaten

gmenroc
I used both Walter Football and ESPN for team needs and matched up to CBSSports prospect rankings. Again, teams will sacrifice need to a point for BPA...but given some kicker is ranked 69 overall...he's not getting selected in the top 3 rounds. So I look at what a team needs most and look at the range of 5 or 10 picks around where they're selecting to find a player. I try to take into account scheme, but hell, I don't know the schemes of all 32 teams. If there isn't a player in the 5-10 ranked players near where they're picking that satisfies the biggest need the team has, I look at the next biggest need for that team until I find a player that will fit. Specifically, at 10 overall, I was really torn between Lee and Hargreaves. At 40 overall, I'd have liked Whitehair a lot more than Garnett, but he was taken a pick earlier. I'd also like a Hargreaves-Deion Jones-Carl Nassib draft...but that ignores the offensive line and I just can't bring myself to do that.
