  1. Although I would have loved Michael Turner, the price was too high. Im not mad at this signing
  2. why, isnt he's a free agent? edit..unrestricted FA
  3. not a bad idea to sign this guy. His numbers are sick and would be a star if he wasnt on san diego. It makes sense, we wouldnt have to draft a running back, plus I believe he played with Jacobs in college...Im not sure if that means anything, just thought Id add that. discuss
  4. Frank Torre, Darryl Strawberry, Joe Torre, Melvin Stottlemeyer and now Bobby Murcer
  5. who cares about this cheating moolie. Im sick of this black bastard
  6. who cares about this cheating moolie. Im sick of this black bastard
  7. I agree with the both of you. I would love to see what Lorenzen could do and at the same time, I would love to see them draw up more plays to get eli out of the pocket...see his entire Old Miss career...he was constantly out of the pocket launching strikes to his his receivers. I see the same with him in the pro's...he is MUCH better when he rolls out of the pocket...MUCH MUCH better
  8. can you really blame him? Im surprised he hasnt asked to be traded a long time ago.
  9. Im pissed. I thought Cashman would get Micah "so horny" Owings. Thats who I really wanted. This trade is ok, it has some upside for us..but not immediately and only if they sign clemens. The Yankees have 4, maybe 5 pitchig prospects that are significantly better than Ohendorf...but, we just cut a fuck load of salary. I think it was to free up money for Clemens...then its a great move. It would have been a great deal if Owings was included and we didnt get Clemens...but since there was no Owings, this deal is just ok......for now that is. I wouldt be surorised if Cash is planning on shipping some of these prospects he's acquired this off season to the Cubs in August for Zambrano
  10. Also, the Yanks have a couple of relief arms in the minors that are on the cusp...JB Cox comes to mind.
  11. why any AL East team would ever trade anything more than a bag of balls for a relief pitcher from the NL Central is beyond me. Mike Gonzalez would get lit up inthe AL Beast
  12. theyre all decent prospects at this stage, but Sanchez is very good and could be an ace in the not too distant future. Sanchez was the blue chipin this deal, no doubt about it. It was a good move, but I think Cash could have gotten more if he waited until after all the FA were signed
  13. this is not gangsta. Good thing we have a 2 game lead in the divison and are 4 games over 500. Injuries are bound to happen, if theres any bright side to all these injuries, they came when the team is in pretty good shape in the standings with room to fuck up
  14. "Larry Bird is not going to walk through the door. Neither is Bill Russell or Robert Parish" Rick Pitino as head coach of the Celtics abusing Boston fans...Hilarious
  15. if people would put their yankee bias and hatred for Jeter, they wouldnt be missing out on watching one of the greatest players to ever play the game. He is incredible and we're very lucky to have watched this guy on a daily basis for his entire career. He is a very special player
  16. Id trade him for Halladay, Santana, Poohole or Miguel Cabrera. Thats pretty much it
  17. yanks 11-0 in the 2006 post seaon....belee dat and thats all she wrote
  18. Tom Clocklin is not a good coach....at least not for this team. There is no chemistry on this team...tons of talent, zero chemistry....and that goes for the coaches and the players
  19. I could go for some dome now right now
  20. Lavarr Arrington comes to mind. He fucking blows.....and he always did. I have no idea how he ever made pro bowls. I guess college stats alone got him there. His pro stats are complete garbage
  21. Joey is doing a good job, but he has still blown alot of games and is still a horrible manager. Put Joey on team that dont have the talent the Yankees have and we'll see what he can do....Oh wait, he did and he was horrible. "But Straight Knowlege Receiver, look at all the injuries the Yanks have had and how he had to do without" Derek Jeter, ALex Rodriguez, Jorge Posada, John Damon, Jason Giambi, Mike Mussina, Randy Johsnon, Mariano Rivera with a bunch of fill ins is still better than most teams.
