Ditto, what he is saying that these young kids havent pitched enough innings. Young arms are very delicate. They have to build arm strength. Many young minor league starting pitchers are not used to logging more the 75-100 innings a season. Minor league seasons are much shorter(monthly) than ML seasons and they dont play as many games. Its really not good to rush a live arm to the majors. Thats why many Asian pitchers only do well in their first few years when coming to America and either get hurt or are no longer effective because the strain on their arm. The Asians abuse their young pitchers, they have them throw up to and over 200 pitches per game. King Felix of Seattle is a rare case, even though he is incredibly young he had to be called up. He was no match for minor league hitters and completely domianted at every level. There was really nothing else the Mariners could have done.

Im a huge Yankee fan, just not a Joe Torre fan, never have been. And you will never hear me say "Joey 4 Rings is a genuis". Anyway, I do like that we drafted Moss, he's a nice player, but if the plan was WR, Jacksn and the Ohio state kid were available when we traded. that would be such a horrible trade for the Mets. Willis is EXTREMELY over rated. Plus he's a black pitcher and black pitchers suck. Wright is a rising superstar who plays 3rd base and will help you everyday. Even if Willis continues to be good(which is HIGHLY unlikely), he can only help you win every 5 days.

Barry Zito is over rated and I wouldnt trade for him if I were the Yankees, but whoever does trade for him will surely be raped. Look at what Beane got from St. Louis for an even more over rated pitcher than Zito. Kiki Calero, Dan Haren and another good catching prospect for Mark Mulder. Rape at its finest
