  1. Yeah, I had visions of Carlos Emmons. McClain is a good player. well, that other McClain... dude's head isn't right. Dallas is getting some value from him now, but its hard to see that lasting.
  2. You guys were all over it, I hope Perry Fewell was watching it too. How many of us have been all over Tony Romo for being suspect under pressure? It seems like Fewell was the last to get the memo. Man, what a great job by the Redskins coaching staff too. Not only were they dialing up the blitzes, they were creative too, like right out of a video game.So much fun to watch.
  3. The Cards are a tough team. They played a mediocre game against the Giants and still won easily.
  4. Yeah, he hasn't been right all season. And we were counting on him too.
  5. Cofield?!?.... hell, why don't we still have Cornelius Griffin?
  6. Tuck was way better in 2013 than Kiwi ever was on his best day. I assumed that letting Tuck walk was an endorsement of Damontre Moore, but he's not playing, so WTF? Don't get me wrong, I like Kiwanuka as a player, but he's sort of a man without a position. He's too long-legged to be a great pass rusher, he's too big to be a great linebacker, he's too small to be a great interior lineman, and he doesn't have the instincts to play a roving position that would fit his body, ala late career Jason Taylor.
  7. The difference between 4-3 and 3-4 is 'staggering'?... either way they're fucking mediocre.
  8. true... by their standard he's a model citizen.
  9. Yes, I saw that episode and had the same thought. I only caught the candy part at first, so was thinking which one is it,'FSU? Clemson? Alabama?... then I found out it was fucking Elon. Fucking idiot. But I'm guessing thats why he's 60 and still on the road.
  10. haha, he had a point though, it was sound reasoning if all you have to look at is wins, losses, and the schedule. However, having seen every snap of Giants football this season I wasn't buying it.
  11. Bradshaw's last season with the Giants was 2012, and despite his nagging injuries that season it was his 2nd best season as a pro. Besides, I never saw him as a guy to build a running game around...he should never have been used more than 100-150 carries a season. I keep forgetting about David Wilson.... he was supposed to have the Bradshaw role in 2013 and going forward. damn.
  12. Their sense failed on this one. Bradshaw still has it.
  13. I agree, he's every bit the player he was a few years ago. Why did we let him walk again?
  14. Its the NFL, everyone is paid handsomely. Even guys who feel the need to shoplift (one more reason to root against the Cowboys). As for Kiwi, he took a pay cut this off-season so the Giants are only on the hook for about $2 million this year, which is about right IMO. He's due over $4 million next season though, so I expect him to be cut after 2014.
  15. Kiwi isn't making huge money....
  16. that too. I'm torn because Dallas embraced something I've been saying ever since I put on pads and sucked like hell on the football field - that the offensive line is the most important position on offense and should be the first priority when building a team. But of all fucking teams, it had to be Dallas?... really?....
  17. Yeah, those years were brutal. In a way, there's something more fun about being a fan through the rebuilding years.... lots to talk about, no expectations. I love watching football regardless, but when I expect nothing out of the Giants its just straight relaxation for me. I really didn't expect a rebuilding phase, although if McAdoo's offense doesn't pan out (and its too early to tell, I know) I think that is exactly where we're headed. The bye week plus one more game played and I think we'll know what we have....
  18. I don't know man, Murray was a beast. As soon as Beason went out of the game, we had no answer for Murray. 7 straight 100 yard games, just incredible. Hats off to that guy. If he were on any other team, he'd be one of my favorite players.
  19. whats frustrating to me is that it wasn't that long ago that the Cowboys, the 21st century poster child for flawed team building, were the more flawed team. I don't want to fucking go 'toe to toe' with the Cowboys, I want them humiliated in their own house.
  20. That was Kennard. So lucky that wasn't a flag.
  21. Completely agreed. I said the same thing yesterday from the comfort of my couch, 'here we go with three pass rushers again'. The thought even crossed my mind that Fewell had money on the Cowboys. Its Tony Fucking Romo, he will fuck up, he will lose the game for his team, its what he does... but only if he's pressured.
