  1. haha, I don't really want Dez, but the more we can do to totally fuck over Dallas the better. Would be a good time for a little friendly tampering, hehehe... put some good shit in Dez's ear and make him a total distraction to Dallas in 2015.
  2. I remember reading after the season that he was really dinged up last year, before the broken leg. Which I didn't know at the time, when I was calling for his head.
  3. he was so awful last season, but I think he's proven that was more about health than ability.
  4. Best offensive lineman this season has been Beatty, by far.
  5. eh, well Jennings missed some really, really big holes on Sunday.
  6. 40% of picks in Randle's direction... 23% of passes in Randle's direction... Eli isn't the (only) problem.
  7. love child with Angela Davis, LOL. Lynch had a good observation during the game yesterday though.... that Randle is far more consistent on in-breaking routes than on routes outside the numbers. I never thought about it before, but I think he was dead on about that, it bore itself out over and over again yesterday. And I guess thats a reason for optimism too.
  8. "Neither Here Nor There" i.e., an accurate description of Rueben Randle's route running.
  9. I think they should play the QB who they think will be the starter next season. Unless the McAdoo experiment is already over, in which case... lets Nassib it up out there.
  10. I noticed that too. But in fairness to Randle, on only one of those plays did I get the sense that he ran the wrong route. Just some bad fucking throws this week.
  11. I may be reading too much into it, but one thing that stood out to me this week is that none of the offensive skill guys have any confidence in the offensive line. Jennings in particular left a lot of yards on the field. Eli didn't seem to have much confidence in the pocket either, especially when Aldon Smith was in the game (what a difference maker that guy is). I feel like the best plays in the playbook these days involve moving the pocket. Eli isn't bad on the move, and it seems to be the only way he can get a decent passing lane these days. The defense again was not bad yesterday, but Kaepernick I think is proving to be the kind of mediocre quarterback who can be had by scheme alone.
  12. I'm fine with the skill position guys... but lets see the offensive lines. On second thought, lets not.
  13. I was just talking about playing the run. Kiwi is better at that than he is as a pass rusher. but yeah, maybe its time to put in Moore. I think I'd rather have someone out there who will make some splash plays from time to time. May give up more space to the run, but maybe he'll also penetrate and bring some drives to a halt.
  14. yeah, all around it was a classic case of wish-casting. In fairness to Randle, he's ahead of where Toomer was through three seasons, and Toomer turned into a hell of a player in season four.
  15. okay, so lets play the hypothetical here and say we cut Eli.... is it possible to get someone who is on the same level for less cap space? I'm not sure that guy exists unless the Giants just get lucky and draft a future Brady or Wilson.
  16. I'm all over him for the confidence crushing give up plays on 3rd down, but you're right. There aren't enough players on offense for this team to be good. I
  17. Truth. Lots of holes on the roster, and that includes the 'vaunted DL', which doesn't have enough rushers to come from both sides anymore. Its hard to see any light at the end of the tunnel too... I see maybe two keepers on the offensive line, and that includes Pugh who has had a terrible sophomore season. Wide receiver is a weakness if Cruz doesn't come back at 100%. The "linebackers".....HAHAHAhahaha..ha...ha.... okay, its not funny, they're just sad. Outside of maybe Kennard, maybe, there isn't a single guy worth keeping in that group. At least there are two very good cornerbacks on the roster, and the defensive line is still good although it isn't even remotely what it was in 2007.
  18. I'm not sure all the injuries are just bad luck. But come on guys, 'depth'? I don't think there's a team in the league (these days) that can weather the number of injuries the Giants have sustained the last couple seasons. The teams that win are the ones that stay relatively healthy.
  19. The fix was easy - stack the box and attack the read-option mesh points. Guys were crashing in on Lynch, but they were spaced so wide that they were irrelevant to the play anyway. It was garbage play design by Fewell.
  20. I don't know, some of the stuff I just heard yesterday about what Dez has already been offered indicates that the Cowboys aren't willing to give him a long term deal... I mean, he was offered a ten year contract, but with virtually no guaranteed money. It wasn't an endorsement of the kind of person they think he is.
  21. The Giants could use you out there Nas.
  22. No doubt, total Buddy Ryan move. Just looking at it as a cost/benefit thing. And I wouldn't call that a cheap shot at all. If the guy is faking being a ball carrier, then by rule he is fair game to be tackled. Every time a team fakes a read option, the QB needs to be ground into the dirt.
