  1. Patience Don't think about the last 10 years and focus on the last 2 and the 1 we are in the process of finishing. Whatever happened before Judge does not matter. Whatever happened before Gettleman does not matter.
  2. I don't know how many different ways I can keep telling you Engram at WR will not work. At least with Engram at RB he has a better chance of holding onto the ball since it is placed in his hands. Giants have to get another TE because Engram doesn't excel at either blocker or receiver.
  3. As disappointing as Evan Engram has been on the field I still wouldn't trade him at this time unless the deal was for a first/second round pick. He does have value in the eyes of others due to his size and speed. It is unfortunate he has been unable to match that with production. His numbers should be double what they are right now. Giants have to force him the ball and they are rewarded with drops.
  4. Yeah two offenses, two coaches, same problems. I believe it would be difficult to change the pattern of turnovers with the same problems under different offenses. Sure you can point to the problem being the same QB but the problems have extended beyond this QB, this offense or even the head coach.
  5. I would like to see him finish this season and play next season before coming to a conclusion on his ability. Two seasons under Judge and running this offense is a fair assessment.
  6. If Colt McCoy outplays Daniel Jones it means Daniel Jones is not the future and the Giants should draft another QB immediately. The Giants do not need to land Watson or Garappolo to figure that out. Watson and Garappolo becoming available is right up there with JJ Watt becoming available, you know for comparison with our DE's
  7. You mean like Colt McCoy? He doesn't have to be the next starting QB for the NY Giants for the rest of his NFL career, he just has win games the rest of the season. Think for a moment. If Colt McCoy can do more with this offense than Daniel Jones, it would definitely put the majority of the blame on Jones. To most of you the season was lost before it began so to argue to about saving the season in a year when the NFC East is abysmal is ridiculous. Jones can very well be the future but that will not be decided this season. If McCoy can lead this team to some victories then the organization would decide to move away from Jones as unlikely as that will be as I see it now.
  8. Exactly Giants have Colt McCoy just sitting there and they can play him at any time and have chosen not to. If Daniel Jones is really the biggest problem the last few weeks, he would have been benched already. When the Giants lose it comes down to a collection of failures on key plays spanning four quarters. You definitely notice Daniel Jones fail more than others simply because he always has the ball. I think the Giants need to continue to fix the team around Daniel Jones for the immediate future.
  9. I don't think Jones or anyone on the roster is going to prove anything in the next 8 games. I can assure you if Daniel Jones continues to struggle next season, we will have excellent draft position again for a QB.
  10. Yeah media is beating that drum now pretty consistently just so they can write about the next QB. Maybe he'll give them more to write about? I don't judge a QB based on the success or failures of other QB's in the league. Daniel Jones is making mistakes and needs more help or the next guy will continue the struggle of moving the ball and putting points on the board, nevermind wins.
  11. and there goes our best chance for a win or tie
  12. Almost the entire offensive line. Where was Kevin Zeitler hiding?
  13. I take it one year at a time. Gentleman is still the GM and I think he has gotten more right than wrong. Giants missed on the head coach and now we have a new one. Team is heading in the right direction just lacking in the win department. I don't waste time complaining about ownership, go cheer for another team is your best choice. Yeah are hundreds of things the Giants could have done differently to have avoided all this mess, but here we are. I can hope the worst is behind us and the team stays the course.
  14. This is why he is a QB and not a RB.
  15. You can't tailor the defense to the strength of one player at the expense of the entire unit.
  16. This window of information interpretation is rather small. Daniel Jones is in his second year, second offense and I see a team improving overall. Yeah wish it was faster too and the results will come with time and patience fans lack.
  17. I think everyone has the wrong impression of Markus Golden this season. He got traded because he doesn't fit into the defense. His playing time this year was that of a rookie. When you look at the stats and don't see any it is because he has been on the bench instead of the field. Markus Golden had a position in Betcher's defense, he was a backup in Graham's. He simply didn't fit so they traded him and I will be surprised if there are more trades coming for players that have an active role on this team. Markus Golden isn't hurt, garbage, etc. Just doesn't fit with the defense. Giants brought him back just to trade like they did today.
  18. Problem is Giants missed on the Head Coach. Can't build a team around the wrong head coach.
  19. Luckily your kind of crazy fits in around here
  20. His kickoffs aren't all that impressive.
  21. Not really, that kind of year so far. I would like to see another receiver move up on the draft boards in the next few months.
  22. I had to check three different sources because of the overall disbelief that the Giants have won a football game in 2020. I am happy for the players and coaches. Watching the game you really notice there is very little firepower on offense. As soon as Washington fixed the mistakes that allowed the Giants to put points on the board, Giants couldn't do anything on offense. I did enjoy watching them pound the ball in the third quarter. Judge made a good decision putting Peart in for Thomas and it worked out, we'll see what happens on Thursday night now. Tae Crowder looked pretty relevant out there today and hope he can build on it. Reading all the hype on Cam Brown going into the game, I was expecting more. Ja'Marr Chase sounds good at this point.
