  1. Rams gave a lot for to make this trade and I think they'll come out on top because of it. Someone tell Lions fans they are now beyond any doubt worse off than the Cleveland Browns. Goff came with a contract that is going to tie them up while Stafford frees up space for the Rams.
  2. I thought it went well with the theme of the post. Things to point out.
  3. In 2000 the New England Patriots went 5-11 and the following year went 11-5, won the super bowl.
  4. I haven't given up on Lorenzo Carter yet, he had an unfortunate and untimely end to his 2020 season.
  5. It's a guess at best because the cap hasn't been released yet. They think the salary cap is going to be a specific number and therefore the Giants will be over the cap. That salary cap number puts a third of the league over the cap.
  6. Surprised, yet the idea of moving on from Wentz was not the better move to make and something needed to happen. What a year for the division.
  7. https://www.bigblueview.com/2020/12/29/22205103/giants-offensive-line-remains-a-work-in-progress-dave-deguglielmo-press-conference I was reading about how Shane Lemieux has all but taken the LG position from Will Hernandez in the last few weeks. I'm pretty shocked by how the Giants have replaced Hernandez since he came down with covid. I like to think it is because Lemieux is ready to take the next step in his development with playing time. Hope it is not because the Giants are planning on letting Hernandez walk when his contract is up. Giants might very well be letting Zeitler and we have a pair of new starters on the right side of the line for the 2021 season. Overall it was another tough season for the Giants.
  8. No we will beat the Dallas Cowboys and be happy for months.
  9. He'll probably ace that, it is during a real game he disappoints.
  10. I've always thought it was a good move to re-sign players during a season. I feel like it helps to reinforce and further encourage a player who is performing at a high level.
  11. When fans stop watching it. Just stop watching it, only seen one and I can't even remember which one. I think Jerry Rice was in it...
  12. Peppers has really turned a corner the last few games. He has always been serviceable and lately he's been lights out. Now do the Giants pay him two years down the road remains to be seen.
  13. ^ Exactly I'm surprised there is interest for him considering how his last gig went.
  14. Now look what you've done, Nas is right. We all shall pay.
  15. His mobility is a double edge sword in that regard. I'm hoping he will not have to run around as much next season. I predict the Browns send back Beckham Jr along with a seventh round pick, no questions asked.
  16. Wasn't about keeping him but fitting him into a defense he did not fit into. You do not build a defense around one player.
  17. Really is all about how you match up from team to team.
  18. I have a hard time believing Daniel Jones was rushed into the lineup. Honestly he thought he was ready to play last week just as he thought he was ready to play right after getting injured and replaced by McCoy. Jones in the lineup changes the entire dynamic of the offense as any franchise QB does.
  19. Watching the game you saw a first half offense that did little and a second half offense that carried the team to a win. I admired Colt McCoy from afar and then he came to the NY Giants and I watched him up close. He is a game manager at best and without a running game an abysmal failure in the NFL. The defense was the star of the game and the offense did just enough to get the win.
  20. Looks like fans are upset again. I'm watching the Seahawks game atm and having a great Sunday. I'll watch the Cardinals game soon enough.
  21. Probably not because Giants were working on long term contract but were also ok with franchise tagging him. If the Giants were able to get him to sign at $14-$15 million a season for four years, Williams would already be locked in. Williams is definitely going to cost us upwards of $18 million a season now and the salary cap is going down next year.
