  1. All he demonstrated was that he can play the position we drafted him at that year. Moving Kiwi back to DE opens up a hole at LB.
  2. Still beating this horse I see. The Shockey getting traded story needs to get put to rest. Its been going on for months and has lead to nothing. There hasn't been a new shred of news on this story in months. I would be very disappointed if Strahan retires and they move Kiwanuka back to DE and give him the starting spot over Justin Tuck. Tuck deserves that spot on the line.
  3. "Some of them were good, some of them were bad" Yeah that pretty much sums up every draft unless your Miami, Denver, Oakland, Detroit, etc.
  4. The first pick of the draft sets the price for everyone that follows. With 4 potential number one picks for Miami, the team is in the driver seat for a change this year. The one position that has a dramatic affect on draft moves, QB is one of the weakest this year. Teams that need them so far haven't signaled a preference for any of the Qb's in the draft or willingness to move up for one of them.
  5. At this point, I actually prefer to have Tuck starting over Strahan. This will help Strahan with his retirement decision next year.
  6. As hard as he plays every week, injuries are just going to happen. Shockey was a pretty damn good receiver when Collins was hitting him and Fassel was calling the plays so I wouldn't take anything away from him as a receiver. He's the best tight end we've had since Bavaro. Drops are drops and I've seen an equal amount of bad throws to Shockey as I've seen drops. I sure can't wait to see playoff Eli hook up with Shockey next season.
  7. Kiper spends most of the day crushing cans with his head. Rumor has it that his hair helmet is stronger than Jimmy Johnson.
  8. I'm in shock. It must be the Spagnuelo/Super Bowl high that so many people are on. I remember years of Giants drafts where so many people had the Giants drafting at least one linebacker on the first day of the draft and always had a linebacker in mind for round one with the exception of the year we picked up Eli and the following year we didn't have a first round pick. Now you guys aren't looking for a linebacker on day one? Have rest of you finally awoken from the dream of the return of the 3-4 defense. If so, thank God.
  9. I could care less what their test score was, just be physically capable and stay out of legal trouble. Any player who manages to stay out of legal trouble and play a good game is already smarter than Pacman Jones, Michael Vick, Chris Henry & half the Bengals roster, etc.
  10. Hey Nas! How's it going, nice to see most of the old timers from the hell hole are here and having fun.
  11. Ah the dumb egg. I remember him from the hell hole.
  12. What if you're 6'4 trying to grab a guy who is 5'8 from behind who is starting to pull away from you? Its very easy to accidentally grab a face mask while trying to wrap up high. Sure its shitty technique but I'll take a shitty tackle over a missed tackle any day. I'll miss the push-out rule because that now takes away a number of great sideline catches and endzone touchdowns.
  13. Thanks for the welcome. True he is not a locker room problem but the Bengal's lacks positive leadership in the locker room. Don't have much to go on at this point about the latest altercation other than a broken window, a black eye and Chris Henry was involved. I would agree that it is poor judgement if it was the Giants, as for other teams in the league; ah well you knew what you were getting yourself into and did it anyway.
  14. Well its about time the Bengals started bringing the hammer down on their players which have been a major source of embarrassment to the league. Chad Johnson should wisen up and take notice, he could be in the same situation Terrell Owens was in while he was with the Eagles. Now if Chris Henry was to wind up on another team I don't think that should reflect negatively on that team. Players that might have been a problem on one team could fit in better elsewhere. I definitely see him landing in either Tampa or Dallas.
  15. He can still contribute to this team. His football instincts are definitely not as good as Steve Smith's and for good reason: Steve Smith played a bigger role in the offense than Sinorice Moss did in their college days. I expect Moss to continue to get better and play up to our expectations for the 2008 season.
