  1. Prince is a pretty average corner in all honesty, he's not really anything special despite how highly people think of him on here for some reason. Moore is a talent at DE, he's a third round pick (yes they can start) that for some reason Fewell refuses to put on the field to let develop.
  2. I don't see Martin becoming more then a career backup, he's undersized to play the run and so far in Dallas has looked completely lost in pass protection (his supposed strong suit) I'd rather have Richburg who can play the every interior position, then trying to take a left tackle and make him play right guard.
  3. I second this tradition.
  4. To be fair it's JR drafting, so the guy will probably be off the team in four years or have a career ending injury in two.
  5. I love Sundays and watching any game I can (thank you NFL redzone) I still love the game that I grew up playing. After cheering on teams like the Blue Jays, Raptors and even the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, I've become accustom to losing seasons and hopeless causes. Maybe you just don't like the NFL anymore, have you tried tennis?
  6. Andre Johnson still put up stupid numbers with David Carr and that shitty Oline. Then he did it with Matt Shaub. Cruz works best when he isnt the defenses focus, so in other words he's a slot WR, trying to play and make #1 money.
  7. This isn't the GMB on that other site. We're not all fucking crazy like over there.
  8. Fuck Cruz is making more money then this year than either Rodney White or Julio Jones (who I think are the best WR combo in the league) both those guys are number one WR threats. Cruz is making 7.4 mil, White is 6.2 and Jones is 5.1. I'd switch Cruz with either of those guys any day of the week. Cruz is getting paid on a year by year basis as a top 15 WR, and he can barely outplay an nickle corner.
  9. All the major sports have come around to this way of treating and running the sport. When endorsements and deals with clothing vendors, TV networks and all that jazz started to make the leagues and owners, millions, then 100s of millions, then billions, why go back to anything else? This will blow over, the NFL will paint some lackey with holding the tape from the league office, they will pay some fines and make up to some organizations and groups, launch some campaigns with Eli Manning saying "Don't hit women....OHAMA!" Sports players have killed people, beat their wives and kids, got caught doing and selling drugs, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. It will all blow over because at the end of the day much like Fox News, sports leagues have gotten really good at distracting people away from what's really happening.
  10. Owen Daniels, former Houston Texan. Was a heck of a player for the Texans, wouldn't of mind getting him in free agency, however he was coming off an ACL tear and in his 30s thats a death sentence for most players.
  11. I'm honestly afraid that Watt is going to kill Eli, honestly the guy is 6ft7ft12ft10 and looks like he could step into an MMA ring with the best of them. The guy's a fucking monster and I'm afraid he's going to fuck Beatty then give Eli the sloppy seconds.
  12. Not to mention let's look at the stats of Nicks vs Cruz, the year Nicks was "dogging it" Nicks finished with 896 yard, 56 receptions, his longest being 57 yards. He has 38 first downs, 14 plays of 20+ yards and 4 plays of 40+ yards and he missed a game. Cruz finished with 998 yards, 73 receptions, his longest being 70 yards. He finished with 45 first downs, 10 plays of 20+ yards and 3 plays of 40+ yards as well as four TDs. If people honestly though that Nicks was "dogging" I question them to tell me what the fuck our top 10 paid WR Cruz was doing that year.
  13. He's covering for the owners, who could care less about an RB beating his wife. He'll stay in until he runs out of his usefulness, same thing happened to Tagliabue.
  14. Yeah when he finally got back to practicing a couple weeks before the start of the season, I guess he took a pretty nasty shot to the hamstring during a play. I'll try to find the article I read about it.
  15. A certain weight falls onto the rest of the team as well. Peyton Manning can make any WR/TE and offense look like it's something special but take a look at the SB last year. The Seahawks exploited the weak Oline by bringing the house at Peyton on every play. It's the same thing the Patriots did back with he played for the Colts. I think Eli is in a similar situation now.
  16. Coughlin has never been a media whore like some coaches who go on about how they are going to whip the team into shape. We don't know what Coughlin is like behind the scenes, at meetings and talking with players. It's why I find it comical that people read into what he says to the media.
  17. Yeah but he didnt have a good year after being rushed back from injuries and surgery. I mean in one game he has more receptions, TDs and yards then any of our WRs, I guess having a QB who throws to you and an OC who understands you don't make someone coming back from a major foot injury run go routes every fucking play. I said it when we paid Cruz, we gave the money to the wrong WR and now a we have a slot WR who's more interested in selling his clothing line then trying to prove he's worth something like Nicks. As you can tell I'm still pretty fucking pissed we got rid of one of the most talented WRs the Giants have had.
  18. That's one thing I didnt understand as the game went on, the offense started to click after putting up 14 points then all of a sudden Eli is waving his arms around and trying to make shadow puppets on the field. If this is a new offensive scheme and everyone is still learning it, why let Eli (designed or not) be able to change the play so drastically that players have no idea if it's even a run or pass, like when Eli rolled out and the WRs went up field blocking expecting a run.
  19. Yeah I'm with Pdoub on this, if there was no video then nothing would of happened from the NFL or the Ravens. Let's not think the Giants are some untouchable team, I'm willing to bet there's current players on the team with bad issues that havent been made public yet. It's a publicity move in the end, if Rice was still the back he was four years ago the Ravens would be talking about how "He's going through community out reach programs to become a better man" It's a joke.
  20. The only way I want the Giant's to draft a QB is if he's like Luck, Ryan or like Eli, Big Ben and Rivers were in '04. I want every single expert saying that he's NFL ready, none of this "he might become a franchise player" like RGtheThird, or all the teams replacing their "franchise QB" now, Jax, Titans, Tampa, Raiders, etc. All those teams took QBs who were "potential franchise QBs" If there's none of those in the draft I don't care if the Giants have to bust out for 10 years, I'd wait for the next Luck.
  21. Well same thing during the Colts year and their, "Suck for Luck" campaign.
  22. Well this Mariota is gonna be a bust, it's confirmed. People on the Dallas Cowboys forum are saying they should tank the season to get him.
  23. I have no idea what youre talking about.
