  1. To be fair I'm sure the teams are just going to be playing unknown undrafted players from 4 years ago by the third quarter. Atleast that's all I remember about the HoF game.
  2. Oh I'll agree but it only really worked because we had WRs who were smart enough and had enough time in the system to learn it. Seems like the last two seasons Eli and the WRs have been reading off of separate playbooks.
  3. "The receivers don't have as many option routes" Music to my ears.
  4. Not in his doghouse but I guess he's been in the injured doghouse with his hammy a few times since OTAs have started. I seriously don't understand what it is about the Giants and newly drafted WRs getting their hamstrings hurt, do they fucking make them put on a weighted vest and run flights of stairs all day? Someone give Nas's yoga card to the strength and conditioning team.
  5. Wasnt it the Colts who basically ran a TE at the FB position for a lot of years while Peyton was in charge? They didn't even carry a FB just an extra TE who could play the spot?
  6. Nawww if the Giant's aint winning the Superbowl every year we need to throw the entire team out the window and start new.
  7. Well in Coughlins defense, all the other team played against Eli.
  8. And yet you still have players who only turn up for a paycheck/hold out and get busted in the offseason beating their wife or doing whatever manner of illicit drugs. These guys are practically fifth grade educated kids who have more money then you or I will ever see, when Coughlin is a hardass in team activities the players and fans said he's losing the team and he will never win anything. Now that's he's trying to get players to buy into the team he's to soft and to busy doing gimmicky things, it's not like he shows up into team activities says this one phrase then leaves the building for the day.
  9. Honestly from the moment he walked in to even after he won the SB in '07 people still questioned that he could motivate the team to win and that he was always "losing players" to his coaching style of working players hard in training camp and having the personality of a stone. But hey I guess everyone has a season long memory.
  10. And yet when he would just coach the team people would bitch that he wasnt motivational enough or that the players didn't respect him in any way.
  11. Well he aint no Khaseem Greene is that's what people are hoping for.
  12. The thing is with some of these reports, it's just a guy who shows up to the teams camp and watches them practice for a couple days then writes and article about what he seen. He doesnt watch that player in every practice like the coaches do, or know his habits in the film room. For all we know they are grooming Nassib to be Eli's replacement and we can have reports every week about how bad Nassib looks. I'll still take the opinion of TC and the coaches then some writer who is only there for a week out of the year.
  13. Besides the fact that I don't know a single thing about College QBs and how they translate to the NFL game, I did like what I had seen of Bridgewater during the 24 hour coverage of everything about the draft leading up to it. He looked like he can make every throw in the book with touch or power and although he doesnt have the ability of Cam Newton to escape and run with his legs it looks like he already excels at being able to move around the pocket. Hope the kid turns into a franchise QB, atleast he isnt a big egotistical fucktard like that Mr.Football.
  14. Right on, always great to see players continue a career in the NFL after their playing career is done. Welcome back Tyree.
  15. Besides it's not like the Giant's would of taken a guard instead of OBJ. Heck I'm sure even if Snee retired at years end they still would of went with OBJ, Richberd and Bromely.
  16. I have full confidence in saying Wilson would have been great to see if he had anyone worth a roster spot blocking for him. Just imagine what he could of done if he had that O-line from the 2007 season, instead he had to pull a Barry Sanders and try to outrun a guy in the backfield on every run play. I mean here's the play Wilson got his neck injured on last season. http://www.nfl.com/videos/new-york-giants/0ap2000000257055/David-Wilson-Injures-neck By the time Wilson even touches the ball on the hand off #77 and #97 are in the backfield for the Eagles, it's pretty much been that way since Wilson was drafted.
  17. I think Jerry is a step back and I still don't see why people think Schwartz is anything beyond a backup. I think both of them arn't even starting material, just serviceable players.
  18. Well as long as he's up WRs asses all day, I got no problem with it.
  19. Although I agree with the 53 man, couldnt they have formatted the article better, was a pain to read and compare.
  20. Well with Snee heading out the door I don't really see the run game being any more viable then it was last season. I'm sure by seasons end people will be saying Jennings has been the worst signing since Mr.Nickles, Wilson is a bust, and Williams was a waste of a draft pick. Going into this year we are basically playing with a free agent O-line. Beatty, Schwartz(FA), Walton(FA), Jerry(FA) and Pugh and I wouldnt be surprised to see Beatty replaced at some point if he continues his decline with Brown(FA). I think it will be a season or two before the Giant's finally have an O-line that is going to mesh, but who knows it's why I'm talking about it on the internet and not in some fancy GMs office.
  21. I think it's because last year he had one of the worst seasons anyone could have at tackle, yes even worse then Beatty. I guess teams see him on the down slope of his career.
  22. 1) I see the Giant's having three QBs again this year on the roster, they are giving Nassib time. 2) Jerry has nothing to prove, the Giant's brought him in and I'm sure before they brought him in they had a nice long discussion about what happened in Miami. I see him starting when someone goes down with an injury. 3) Snee I can see bouncing back, he's a pro bowl player and has a year or two left before he hangs it up. Beatty is a toss up and I can see him being replaced if he's healthy but still doing his best impression of a turn style. Wilson isn't going to be a starter simply because of Jennings, the Giant's are basically giving him the change of pace back role and I'm sure that's where he will stay until he can prove otherwise.
  23. Nicks was our WR to run the out, he was hurt and Gilly kept making him run the fly.
