  1. You know expect for the successful franchise, four SBs, stable coaching positions, a franchise QB, GM and owners who are worth a damn, the winning seasons, and basically everything else. But yeah, totally like the Raiders.
  2. I don't see why Ellis wasnt even a solid starter, let alone able to show he was a starter in the NFL.
  3. Guaranteed money is guaranteed money by that team to the player in his contract, when a player is traded to another team the guaranteed money has to be paid up front by the team, which creates the whole "dead money" situation that teams find themselves in. For example when Revis was traded from the Jets to Tampa Bay, the Jets still had to pay all his guaranteed money to him, something like 13 million, that counts against next years cap. Carson Palmer was another example, when he was traded from the Raiders to the Cardinals, the Raiders had to eat up 10 million in dead money on the cap hit.
  4. Giant's would still have to pay his 14 million dollar contract. So essentially we would be paying for him to play on another team.
  5. Honestly, this wouldn't be that bad of an idea expect for two things. 1. Cassel want's to start and I cant see him being a backup longer than a season or two. 2. We would have to let Nassib go without getting something of value for him. Than the Giants would be in a position without a backup QB by seasons end, Nassib would be possibly playing for some other team for free and Cassel would be signed up the next QB starved team.
  6. Honestly I hope all this Kam talk is just a smoke screen, he's not as good as the media makes him out to be. He's allowed to play sloppy with having Earl Thomas and the best CB in the game on the same field. Not to mention his contract will hinder the Giant's more than help them.
  7. I'd pass on Chancellor, now if it was Richard Sherman, I'd trade the world for him.
  8. "JR never does anything with late round draft picks, we shouldnt even draft after the third round" - Everyone on the board. *Cuts a shaky Weatherford to save cap room* *Trades seventh round pick for a starting punter* "THE FUCK YOU DOING JR?!?!?! WE CAN USE THOSE PICKS" lol
  9. The problem is, the OL is getting a pocket for him, he just turns tail and scrambles the moment he sees a DE.
  10. I don't see what you expected though. Why else did they bring Vereen in?
  11. So you expected a fourth round pick to be the second coming of Barry Sanders?
  12. With the amount of negativity here, I'm surprised anyone here still watches the games.
  13. Well honestly since the Giant's were down to no name college players might as well bring back someone familiar. Honestly though we may have been better off luring Demps out of retirement.
  14. I've actually been thinking about this for awhile how WRs gloved provide an advantage. I remember watching that "Sports Science" show and they did this segment about WRs gloves and how they are basically tire rubber on the surface of them and provide better grip on the ball than even that Stickem stuff used back in the day. I can see some rule being put into place where only "NFL approved gloves" can be used that don't provide any sort of extra grip.
  15. Tim Jennings is an interesting cut, could be decent depth at CB for the Gints. Nate Askew is a LB I remember some draft analyst raving about as a late round gem, maybe see if there's anything to it, then again he's probably just a career special teams player.
  16. The guy was worse than C.C.Brown. Might as well just be playing a 10 man defense instead of having him out there. Honestly at this point I would say anyone of the rooster is as good if not better than him.
  17. "Avoid wearing cleats" "Avoid sports that require twisting and person to person contact" So basically they should stop playing football to make it safer.
  18. Honestly go look at the front page of NFL.com. It's a horror show of injuries, I dont know what the hell is happening but it seems like 99% of them are ACL/MCL tears. Fuck the Skins just lost another starter to an ACL tear, that's what five so far?
  19. He had more TD passes in the first half of the season though.
  20. He was actually statistically better the first eight games of the season then the final eight games of the season.
  21. Yeah I don't think the loss of Murray will stop the Cowboys, they could have Ron Dayne putting up 2000 yard seasons behind that Oline. But fuck it's the NFC East the 'Skins could be heading to the playoffs for all we know is this stupid division.
  22. NFL is always trying to keep the white man down.
  23. In two seasons though, will Nassib still be with the team? I mean his contract is up at the end of this year I think it is, so I mean does he resign in hopes the Giant's kick Eli out the door? Or does he in all likelihood leave for another team. More over, does anyone in the organization even feel like Nassib IS the QB of the future, or just been an cheap insurance policy for Eli. This up coming offseason will be very interesting depending on how the season plays out.
  24. The only problem with Nassib I see is if it's time for Eli to move on, then I imagine Coughlin and maybe even JR are moving on with him. I don't see a new HC/GM coming in and not wanting to choose their own QB of the franchise/future. Unless MacAttack is giving the HC role then I can see Nassib being the guy, that is if they chose to move on from Eli.
