  1. It only took Dick LeBeau to arrive and build his defense before Cowher won a playoff game. Wonder if LeBeau would be interested in a HC job.
  2. Who? Reports are Sean Payton is out of NO come the end of the season if he wants. Maybe a return to NY is in order if Coughlin decides to hang it up at the end of the year.
  3. Team sport. Cam is leading an offense that no one thought would put up more than three points a game the moment they lost their number one WR in the offseason.
  4. It's weird to think this was the same guy that Carolina was trying to run out of town a number of seasons ago. He's honestly become what coaches in the NFL have been trying to to develop out of those "running QB's", into a good passer who can make plays with his legs if he has to with ease.
  5. I don't think I've ever heard of an NFL hiring a coach mid-season. Honestly it would be more of a determent to Wisenhunt to commit to a team NOW when he knows he can probably slip into a HC gig come the offseason.
  6. You mean playing for an undefeated team that have been to the playoffs the last two years. Yeah totally not a contending team. And what do you know about Allen to say he would want to play in NY rather than Carolina? Carolina's defense is something to be respected, the Giant's just gave up 52 points. According to multiple reports Carolina was one of the places HE wanted to play in.
  7. To be fair his QBs were Alex Smith who went an entire year without throwing a TD pass to a WR, and KappTheRappa who looks like a bigger bust than Jamarcus Russel right now.
  8. Davis is 31? Guess he has been in the league for a while. Maybe for a 4th or 5th. Wouldn't offer to much more than that.
  9. Well it wasnt just the Giants any team could of taken him with their first or second round pick and he would of played for them. His agent (and Collins) made it clear he wouldn't bother with any team after those two rounds though.
  10. You know the Giant's were in the mix for Collins, even using former LSU teammate OBJ to try and make that happen. Collins has a unique situation, he literally got to CHOOSE where he would end up. He picked the Cowboys, for reasons known only to him, I'm sure the idea of the Cowboys deep pockets and recent playoff run helped.
  11. What's with OL coaches getting promoted to OC? MacAttack was the same thing, went from OL, to QB, not to OC with the Gints. Edit. After reading the article they fired their OL coach as well, so nevermind lol
  12. Let's not forget as well, the Oline the Giant's had with Bradshaw,Jacobs,Ward, that one former Browns running back.... Fuck the Giant's had two thousand yard rushers in Jacobs and Ward, one of only five(?) teams in the NFL to ever do that. That Oline was honestly the best in the NFL for it's reign. The current Oline is nothing and may never be like that again.
  13. The problem I see if the Giant's just havent had the talent at RB, or healthy talent anyways. Bradshaw and Jacobs were both complete RBs, could block, could catch, and both could run. A healthy Jennings and Vereen would make a good one two punch, the problem is both are FAs by season end no? I think anyways. I'm sure the Giant's were hoping Williams could be the next part of a RB tandem, he just obviously isnt going to be that here.
  14. The problem was the money, he knew he was a first round talent, it was obvious he would start for ANY team in the league this year, but he'd be getting paid practice squad/7th round money. No one wanted to touch the guy with the NFL basically saying "stay the fuck away until the legal matters are worked out". He knew he wouldnt be a day one or even a day two pick. He best option was to sit out and be able to pick whatever team he wants, which he obviously did.
  15. He apparently already had plans to return to school, according to his agent (also could have been a bluff). I just feel like unless you draft him in round one or two, whatever HE said he wanted to go, he was just gonna sit out and you would lose the pick for the year, and he'd end up playing for the Cowboys in the long run haha. I mean it's not like players havent threatened to sit out before in the draft, hell Eli was willing to do the same if the Whale Vaginas drafted him. Elway with the Colts, etc.
  16. No one wasnt suggesting he was good, the fact that the coaches staff heavily relies on Jennings and Vereen over him showed them that they don't think he's too special. He was the leading rusher on the team last year, which was saying a lot for the shit show at Oline and was only .5 yards behind Jennings in terms of YPC , who I guess he should be behind Darkwa as well. The Giant's gave him a chance, he couldnt "run with it" he's now lost his spot to Darkwa who they have given a chance to show he's better than Williams.
  17. So you dont think the Giant's should do yoga? I thought this was the gayest place around, I thought wrong.
  18. Moore gets limited starts does nothing but fuck up and fans still want the coaches to play him more. Williams gets a chance to show that he is better than what he was last year and people flip the fuck out. Glad the coaches never come here for advice heh Although they really should take Nas's yoga trip.
  19. You know I'm surprised after the time he spent with the Jets, Sexy Rexy went to a place where there was a QB competition/lack of talent. I know Taylor is suppose to be THE QB, but still you think he would of went with a team that had a somewhat established QB situation, instead of repeating the same thing with the Jets all over again.
