  1. I would of loved to see Stallworth and Moss here but in all honesty we couldn't of gotten them. Imagine Randy Moss sitting there on draft day then and two teams phone him New England and The Giants....who do you think he really wants to be with? New England who every year has a shot at going to the SB or the Giants who have been to the playoffs the last couple years but couldn't win. There was no way in hell less of a first round pick we were getting Moss. I could possibly see Stallworth but once again a decision between us or New England....well you know how it went. I think we had more needs through the draft then to try to be throwing out picks away.
  2. Unfortunately thats how it is around here.
  3. There is no way in hell you can compare that kid with Phil Simms or even Y.A. Tittle. That kid isn't one of the best QB that Giants have ever had up to this point...he has just been better that what we've had recently which really isn't saying much. The kid is no where near the greats at this point in his carrier. Hell maybe the kid will make me eat my words some day, in fact I hope that kid does. But up to this point he has been an average replacement QB. This last game I've just lost all faith in him ever recovering...but you know crazier things have happened....hell Bush got in for a second term...maybe that kid could make me eat my words.
  4. That right there sums up the typical homer fan. Worship the QB or get the fuck out. So just because I think the kid is a average replacement QB I'm suppose to give up on the Giants all together? Holy shit man if your example of a fan is someone who blindly worships their QB then I guess I'm not your definition of a "fan" I love the Giants their the only team in football I cheer for and they will always be. But just because I don't like the kid at QB doesn't mean I'm not a fan. P.S. So every fan during the Dave Brown years had to like him....or else they weren't a fan?
  5. Well if you would actually read the posts before coming to your kids defense, you would of realized I never said it was his loss and we wouldn't be here now would we?
  6. Are you stupid or just really trying tonight? When did I ever say Eli cost us the game? I said "he took a shit" he had a god awful second half. I never once said the game was his fault it was the team that lost the game. But what I'm trying to get across, if you would actually read my posts is that I've giving up on him as our QB......now do you want me to spell it out in crayon for you? or you got it? This was a team loss, but that kid still can't play QB for any amount of money in the world.
  7. Hey I would like nothing more for that kid to wake up one day look down and say "Hey look dad they dropped" And for that kid to actually have a solid game..scratch that a solid season but until that day ever comes that kid is nothing more then a decent replacement QB.
  8. Its official I have given up on Eli as our QB. I have supported this kid 100% since the day we drafted him, from the day we pulled Warner up to today. However today really showed me that this Kid has done nothing to advance in this league, he bitches and moans in the off season about how his receivers need to come practice and how he spends hours upon hours watching his game tape. Hey how about this you stupid inbred redneck, instead of all that you actually try to get better in the off season? Like I said I've supported this kid and the Giants decision to keep him up till now, but until this kid proves me otherwise I have no hope for the Giants with him under center. I mean look at this game this was the one fucking time all season that we got Shockey involved, he was having an awesome game. Then what does that kid do...he takes a giant shit in that start of the second half. I mean god dam 3 delay of game penalties fucking three of them! and don't tell me that little scrawny SoB couldn't of gotten rid of the football on some of those sacks. So until this kid proves to me that he can actually step up and show us he has some balls, he's not our QB he's just another scrub that the Giants put in because they have no one better. Fuck you Eli and the bank we traded you for.
  9. Go figure the one game, I mean the one fucking game where they actually utilize Shockey.... Eli decides to take a shit in the middle of the game.....
  10. I'm calling the game 31-20, I don't see us coming back. We played alright but committed to many stupid penalties.
  11. "At least I'm respected here......oh....wait..."
  12. No I see what your saying, I'm a die hard Giants fan till the day I die and hate to see any rival team get any type of praise. However I never said anything good about our rivals, you said we were the hottest team in the NFL....not the NFC. If you said we were the hottest team in the NFC right now I would agree with you, but the NFL is a bit pushing it.
  13. :LMAO: Even I have to tell ya to take those blue glasses off.
  14. I repeat On Green's play it wasn't a pick, it was an end around or reverse I believe. A QB can block low on those plays, heck any offensive player can. That play were Shock get penalized was a pick and like the guys said after a pick no offensive player can block low.
  15. *sigh* On Green's play it wasn't a pick, it was an end around or reverse I believe. A QB can block low on those plays, heck any offensive player can. That play were Shock get penalized was a pick and like the guys said after a pick no offensive player can block low.
  16. Yeah I mean look at the teams dallas had to beat I mean, Miami come on their at least going to make it to the playoffs maybe even the superbowl. Oh don't forget St. Louis their easily in the top 3 teams in the league and Chicago is at least in the top 5. The nail bitter in Buffalo really showed that dallas is in the top 32 teams in the league, I can't wait till dallas has an easy game on their schedule I mean so they can at least get a break.
  17. Yesterday Plax showed me that he's finally playing with his heart. I have always been a fan of Plax since the day we signed him, I thought "Nice we have a big, physical wide-receiver for the new QB of the franchise" He has been a big part to our offense since the day he arrived and has made Eli in some situations look good, going up for some of those lame ducks he threw back in the day. I think the reason in the past he has given up on his routes and plays is the same reason Shockey has, their both here to play and win. When Eli would fall of in the second half of the season can you imagine how frustrating it was from Plan and Shock even the entire team to know that their passing game is lame duck after lame duck throw. You go out game after game running your routes and trying to beat the secondary just to know that if you get thrown at it will sail 5ft above your head or 2ft in front of you. But I see something different in Plax, this year is finally giving all he has on his routes and trying to make plays and Shockey has always played with his heart and a intensity. I'm glad we have Plax he is a great asset to the team and Eli, he's having a pro-bowl year and lets hope him and Eli keep connecting. P.S. Nice Sig FFFF
  18. I'm sorry.....what? Once again Ross shows us he is a play maker.
  19. Should be more like. :worshippy: :worshippy: :worshippy: :worshippy: :worshippy: :worshippy:
  20. .... ...I must have missed something here...
  21. Have to give it to the guy, he made a nice play on 4th and goal. Lets just hope he keeps making them.
  22. Receiving REC YDS TD LG J. Shockey 5 79 0 27 C. Cooley 3 19 1 8 I'm sorry....what?
