Tyrod getting first team reps.

Will work with the #1s in practice and preseason games.

Will rotate with Jones from time to time.

Daboll "denies it has anything to due with Jones struggles in camp"

lol sure Brian, giving a guy who was a starting QB who had some success in the NFL starting reps is just for experience.

If it's up to me, let's have a competition and put the best possible offense on the field. It's not just about Jones.

For sure.  Been following the Giants since 1968 and know all of their Y.A. Tittle history.  I have been through so many QB's... I am not wedded to any of them.  If D.J. can do the job, he stays.... if he can't move on.  No muss or fuss and definitely no tears.

Tyrod Taylor is not the best QB on the roster and considering the injury history of Daniel Jones as well as having a new Guard/Center start Sunday, it makes sense to keep Jones out vs the Bengals.

Given his history of poor performance I don't see any sense in sitting him due to injuries to other players.

I am still excited about the defense. I think it's going to be a bright spot. If they can stay healthy.

Is Jones really having a bad camp as it's being made out to be?

I mean he’s always been bad to me so yes. Even worse. Just not a guy who’s comfortable back there.

As an old timer I think it is simple.  Give him the year to produce or get better.  2023 will be time to cut bait and cut ties with Jones.  I don't think he will rise above as he needs to at this level.  I would just write... don't agonize over Jones... he produces keep him around.... he doesn't trade him if you can or just let him walk and go for the next QB of the future.  When you are a fan since 1968 you learn sometimes you catch lightning in a bottle... sometimes you don't.  When you don't think you have lightning or realize you don't have lightning then it is time to move on.

I think with the defense looking strong they will be like the Giants circa 1981.  A decent defense hoping the hobbled offense does not lose the game.

I’m cautiously excited… I’m afraid any defense can look great against THIS offense.

Going to be a long season of losses

This is the correct response.  5 wins would be nice.

The defense might have a legit pass rush, but once teams figure out they can throw to Aaron Robinson every play they're going to score 40+points each week.  Wink has shown last year that he has "his" system, can if the players don't match the system he runs it anyway.

To be honest that's 99% of the NFL

It's not like the Cheifs offense is going to be different because Hill isn't there.

Graham didn't. Dude wanted to run a tight man, blitz-heavy scheme but realized his corners were more zone guys, so he changed his whole defense.

I don't think that's Graham's style. That's Brian Flores' style, and that mismatch is supposedly why Flores wanted to move on at DC.

I still think Graham is a legit DC, but his philosophy was a bad fit for this roster.

No, he tried it for the first three games and that's why every team had 400+ passing yards against us. He finally realized that he didn't have the personnel for it and went back to the man/zone scheme from the year before.

Tyrod is the sacrificial goat.

Whenever he gets hurt the other QB excels.

Gets hurt in Texas, Mills comes in and looks pretty good for a third round pick.

Lung gets punctured, Herbert steps in and becomes Herbert.

Didn’t work in Cleveland
