  1. Baez seems like a good move for Mets. Maybe it will get Lindor going. This all all I can find on what the Cubs got. I can't find anything else. https://sny.tv/articles/instant-reaction-what-did-mets-give-up-by-dealing-away-pete-crow-armstrong-
  2. The Mets are letting teams hang around.
  3. They would have been better off with Foles. Now they are in rebuild mode. They blew a few years and made some bad decisions in between. Kind of like the Giants. The difference is that the Giants blew some good Eli years.
  4. Well that’s sort of good news
  5. I agree, last year wasn’t as bad, but the other years have been atrocious. I still don’t have an opinion on Judge, but previous coach, Chuck Schumer was just bad.
  6. Die on that hill Shakes.

  8. Last year was a little better. Their little run mid-season was fun to watch and got me optimistic.
  9. Remember when the Fab 4 said, one day they will be back. I still wonder if that was the right decision overall
  10. You are just a negative nancy
  11. Didn't LeBron do the same thing, but he just wouldn't tell. All I can think is Dak wants to be private about it and not to make a big deal. Let the league deal with it.
  12. I still don't think we are a playoff team. Yes, I think we overall better than last year. I think a lot depends on Jones though. If he can sling it for over 3000 yards and Barkley puts close to a 1,000, the team can be good. I just don't see it this year. I am still waiting on Jones. We got two first rounders next year. All I want to see is improvement. If Jones is not the guy, then we spend one of those picks next year.
  13. They should have the TNT basketball crew do one
  14. Way too cute on those penalties. I wanted to yell, stop dancing.
  15. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/06/28/brandon-jacobs-three-teams-have-shown-interest-in-me-as-a-defensive-end/ Former Giants running back Brandon Jacobs said last month that he wants to make an NFL comeback as a defensive end and it sounds like he may get that chance this summer. Jacobs turns 39 next month and last played in 2013, but he said he thinks he “can be one of the best in the league right now” despite his lack of experience on the defensive side of the ball. He also said his agent has heard from three teams interested in seeing what he can do this summer. “I don’t want to throw names out there just yet because I was told not to, but it’ll be a shock,” Jacobs said, via Keyon K. Jeff of HoumaToday.com. “If I don’t get an opportunity, it’s fine. I’m currently coaching high school football and running a youth program, which I’m perfectly content with doing the rest of my life.” Jacobs said one of the reasons he picked Auburn over LSU for college was because he thought then-LSU head coach Nick Saban would move him to defensive end. Picking running back worked out well for Jacobs at that point and we’ll see if his late bid for a new position winds up working out for him.
