  1. Don't worry, Madison Hedgefund will be retired one day and he'll be hired to replace Johnson. And Barry Cofield will do reports from the endzone.............then we'll have our revenge. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
  2. I think getting to the Superbowl is an achievement and losing 6-3 or 63-3 is the same thing, a loss is a loss.
  3. Romo hasn't won one either. When the Ravens won the superbowl, did Trent Dilfer really win any of the playoff games he played in?. Speaking of Elway, he was a better quarterback when he lost those 3 superbowls, than when he won 2 of them. So when the game of football becomes a game of one QB versus another QB, get back to us.
  4. Explain the correlation between Elway and Manning in terms of playoff wins?.
  5. I loved the mystery series on PBS
  6. Why would he throw inside?. Why would he throw into the ground?. Why?. He's Eli, that's why. But nevertheless, he missed the throw, Urlacher stepped in the path of the ball, Shockey stood still, he could have reacted better. And this is coming from someone, who will look to give Shockey the benefit of the doubt at all times.
  7. John Carney was signed during the week, how does that happen?
  8. Well then, Toomer must have been laying on the ground because that's where his eyes would have to have been.
  9. That ball should never have been thrown to Plaxico, Toomer and Shockey had better position under the goalposts, it was a panic throw by Eli.
  10. You can't support you're argument by using that as an example Nas, Toomer made a great catch there.
  11. Another major factor I missed. penalties: 2 for 10 yards. All things considered, that's fucking remarkable.
  12. If you look how Droghans ran in, it was almost too easy. Chicago may have let him in to get the ball back. It almost worked. Giants have to take the points as soon as the can get them. They were right to go for it. I understand the logic but with our kicking game, one bad snap, it's over.
  13. Think about this, Anthony Wright is the best option at backup, how fucking scary is that?. Would it kill us in the offseason to get a decent backup?
  14. I wouldn't say swept away Joe. Fact is he's lucky he got that time at the end of the game to do what he did and furthermore the ball to Toomer was poorly thrown, he's lucky to have gotten away with it. Honestly the defense gave him plenty of opportunity to get the job done, so at some stage he needs to do it.
  15. I should take solace in yesterday's win, after all we are in Chicago against a relatively strong D and we came from behind. It should be inspiring, The defense played well in general, guys like Michael Johnson and Kawika Mitchell played strong games, I like what Kevin Dockery is doing out there, even Butler is improving. Our defensive line did all they could, they kept giving the offense chances to win. Amazing to think that since Kiwi has got hurt you think we'd lose a little and suddenly up steps Fred Robbins. All this and Grossman was actually playing decent and Peterson at times was looking like the other Peterson. But the defense got the job done today. For all the shit that special teams have gotten in the past, they are a different animal right now. Feagles did exactly what he needed to do. Hester was a non factor and our special teams coverage was very good. What a great tackle by Chase Blackburn, a guy who I have my doubts about, but the guy plays hard when he plays. Too bad that the unit has to be soured by the fact that Tynes has to act like a fucking crybaby. 2 kicks out of bounds is ridiculous and watching him coming to the sidelines whining to Coughlin about the wind and Hester was nuts for a guy walking on eggshells as it is. Seriously, If Coughlin shitcanned his ass this week, I'd applaud. Coaching and offense go hand in hand this week. I like that even though he fumbled that the coaches kept giving Ward the ball because he was still making hay. But some of the situations they are giving the running backs the ball are questionable. Do you think that many teams will plan a defensive strategy against us in the future, that when we are 2nd/3rd and long, defend the draw play!!. You see, the way I look at it, you have guys who are supposed to do a certain job, throw the ball, catch the ball, run with the ball, block. If you have guys who have a job to do and they can't do it, you don't change the job type, you change the personnel. If Eli needs a wake up call, then you put Anthony Wright (puke) in for a series. If Shockey won't make the effort to break up the clear "pass to Urlacher", then bench his ass. If Plax can't run properly, then may be he shouldn t be out there on every snap. But this coaching staff changes the plays and those plays led us to be still down 16-7 when we should have been leading going into the 4th quarter with all the possession. I was looking for Eli to hopefully give everyone who criticized him this week the middle finger, but he didn't, and frankly he was a Toomer awesome catch away from getting fucked again this week. But dumbing down the playcalling to cover for him is something that shouldn't happen. I guess it's something to win when you don't play at your best, hopefully we'll step it up next week because Philly are there for the taking, they can't get it done with either Feeley or McNabb right now, and if it wasn't for Westbrook they'd suck altogether. Big safety and linebacker play needed next week.
  16. I want Mike Martz nowhere near this team. You get him, then you have to pay for his ego to come with him and it's bigger.
  17. Converting third downs outside the opponents 30 yard line will cure Devinhesteritis.
  18. I understand it wasn't a high bar, not his fault though.
  19. Fine, he could have pulled him up to his office and said it to him if he felt that way. With all the shit that Eli is taking from the press this week, I think it's fucking retarded that he did this and this just piles it on. It's irresponsible behavour, but of course Reese gets a pass because "he's kicking butt". How would Jerry feel if Ernie Accorsi told the press that he couldn't understand how Reese "couldn't" get a decent linebacker in the draft or free agency this year?, after pushing him for the the job?.
  20. You should have Spree in a Warriors uni in your sig.
  21. The Giants laid out a list of guidelines Collins had to follow and not only did he do them, he was stand up about them. Now, I understand we gave him a chance, but for all his happy feet, he was easily the best QB we've had since Hoss/ Simms and based on all the shit we're hearing about Eli, he may still be. For all the shit he gets for the Superbowl, at least he qb'd the team there, and anybody who says he didn't play well against the Vikes is simply blind. And TBC, no offense, but if you think that it was Collins that gave the superbowl to the Ravens you're misled, because fact of the matter is that on that day, in those playoffs, no-one, absolutely no-one was beating the Ravens in that game, that D was that good. There were hints that the Giants were going with a QB but nothing definite and Collins found out like everyone else, and considering the guy was coming off an injury and in his last year, that had to be a slap in the face to him. So if he was angry, regardless of his past, he was entitled to be.
