  1. Blue, seriously you need to take it easy. VG is my rival from the redneck state party, and we differ on opinions on the Giants, but don't question his status as a Giants fan. Jacobs has been a beast for us in the last month, but it's just been the last month as a fulltimer. It says a lot for Barber in Dallas that when crunchtime comes, Barber is in there. The guy averages over 7 yards a carry.
  2. I'll bite, how does a person in So cal root for New York teams.
  3. Chances are more likely Blue, that someone has been picked to replace Glenn on the team, so any plays designed to go to Glenn, are now the responsibility of the replacement (probably Crayton). So you figure that Glenn is a better wideout, so if Crayton is not playing the position up to the same level as Glenn, chances are Romo will go to other options such as Witten and Owens, who are playing well this year. Egg's point is that when Toomer went out last year, that Burress and Shockey didn't pick up the load as adequately, which may be a fair point.
  4. Don't forget guys, that Jason Witten catching passes all over the place takes up some of the slack for Glenn, so TO is not always having to overcompensate. In fact Egg, you'd have to agree that when it comes times to dial in on a receiver that Romo is looking for Witten's number early in his progressions.
  5. I am absolutely not referring to you. It was a joke in line with Lubeck's response to me. No big deal. The closest guy we have to an asshole around here is Fish, because he's always picking on me capitalizing my posts............WELL FUCK HIM!!!!!!!! And I take Egg for what he is, a lot of his posts are okay.
  6. No it's not. If I was being serious, Bad Egg would still not be the asshole.
  7. Okay, who's better at the different positions on the field. I know Big Blue is going to say Giants for all. Answer is simple, Cowboys or Giants or even. Quarterback: Running Backs: Wide receivers: Tight End: Offensive Line: Defensive Line: Linebackers: Safeties: Corners: Special teams: Coaching: and that special category: Former linebackers who wore # 56 and are in the hall of fame:
  8. Just to clarify, "Asshole" is someone on the board.
  9. Glad you clarified it now. Asshole!!
  10. I was looking at 2 teams who drafted well and are well coached and play real hard. Yesterday should be a lesson on how to play the game.
  11. Heap Gonzalez Witten Shockey Gates I think he belongs in this group to be fair. (this is not in order)
  12. Our coverage needs to be top notch this week, because we need to have extra time to get to Romo at the line. On the running side, I can't stress enough how important it's going to be for Pierce and Mitchell to have strong games, because Barber is killing teams and is getting more confident.
  13. Great and Philadelphia should not be in the same sentence, unless you're saying "it was great to get the fuck out of Philadelphia".
  14. Witten has surpassed Shockey this year IMO, but he's definitely more of a feature of Dallas offense than Shockey is the Giants. I don't think Witten has to worry as much about Blocking as much as Shockey does, because Dallas's line is just so fucking big, that he can get off the line much faster. Still it's hard not to admire Witten after that play last night. I don't get the obsession about all of Shockey's "drops". You'd swear he was dropping every second pass thrown to him.
  15. This statement deserves a simple................ WHATEVER.,
  16. The Honeymoon could be over in Philly. That was just BAD last night. The thing about the Eagles used to be that they would fight you to the end, but this team doesn't seem to do that. Reid's mind has to be on other things, and perhaps he should do a "Lute Olsen", and take some time off, turn the team over to Jim Johnson. I'm not kidding, Lurie fully backs the guy so why not?
  17. Bad Egg, I know you're trying to make a point. But seriously, what is it?
  18. Frankenstein demands that Tiki practices in pads on Wednesday, Tiki smiles but is not happy about it and will discuss it in his next book "TIKI - MY TIME SUCKING AS A TV PRESENTER"
  19. Marion Barber is a good back. Much better than Julius Jones IMO.
  20. People want Dallas to lose to the Eagles, i don't. I want the eagles to start thinking about next year......without Reid.
  21. What the hell is going on on this board right now? Yes any "fool" can see we are better. We were 0-2, now we are 6-2. But what the hell has Dallas done or not done in the past few weeks that gives you the impression that they are not better? One loss to a dominating team, and a field goal win over Buffalo, shit every other game they've won by an average of almost 20 points!. And before anyone says they have played losing teams, sure you're right, but did you look at our schedule. Look, I want them to win as much as the next person, but I'm not going to be unrealistic. This team has done this before and only once has had a winning record in the last 8 games under Coughlin. I think this team could be different, but I'm going to wait and hope they can accomplish this and stay healthy. The signs are good, but they can turn ugly very quickly. And I hate the Cowboys, hate them. But if they are a good team, then credit where credit is due. Being ranked number 6 on this list is very fair all things considered
  22. what the hell is that for? He said that "you" Giant Fans are disregarding the rest of the schedule. I said that's not the case, and I said so in another topic. I don't get what so hard about that. Not all Giant fans feel that way.
  23. I'm a Giants fan, and I posted earlier saying that that no game is a gimme. Why generalize, I thought you were smarter than that?
