With 2-3 minutes to go on Sunday the Jets were a beaten team, you could see it in their body language.

Moss had a healthy training camp and was in the same position to win the 3rd wideout slot against Smith. He didn't. In fact, I think Smith has less of an upside because he's a more complete wideout right now and he's been involved in a pro style offense in college. Despite how fast he is, he doesn't return kicks or punts either. Furthermore, when he does take the field now, opponents are pretty sure that there's a trick play coming up because the Giants simply don't throw to him down the field. Hopefully he'll develop into a good wide receiver like his brother, because Santana was a bit of a one trick pony before he left the Jets, now he's a pro bowler.

Then how did he make the roster in the first place?. He shouldn't make an arena football league team if he was that poor.

Perhaps we don't know more than the management, but you could pull that excuse anytime a move is made and we question it. Many people feel Mix could have been helpful to keep around especially since he's similar build to Plaxico who is threatening each week to miss a game. But like Fish said, it took the Giants years to finally move Joseph off the roster, so they can't do the same with Moss so soon after they drafted him so high. Mix will play in this league, Giants castoff wideouts seem to have more success elsewhere (David Patten/Ed mcCaffrey, Joe Jurevicius).
