  1. Peterson didn't play against the Giants at all.
  2. HYPOCRITE!!! I know what you're saying though, and by the looks of things, we may play ourselves out of it.
  3. You're right, but Robbins always seems to need to be motivated. Joseph is on IR and will probably be released anyway so i wasn't counting him. Alford needs time like you said but he's shown potential. Tuck will play DT because he can't get time with Stra and Osi and he plays well at DT. Cofield was mainly a run stuffer in college and I feel he's improving.
  4. Saints have Philly at home and the bears on the road, both very winnable.
  5. We don't make the playoffs if the Skins win both, Saints win both and Minny win one because we would lose all 3 tiebreakers.
  6. UK, I would have responded sooner, but I hadn't watched the game on Sunday (just watched it last night) and I knew if I read you post you would have mentioned the result. That was one uninspired game and if I was a Liverpool fan I would be unhappy about it.
  7. All 7 of them. John Hufnagel: Head Coach AND General Manager. Because all you need to be able to do to become a GM in the CFL is to be able to spell Football.
  8. Robbins has only come on in the last few weeks, he doesn't deserve it. Especially with Tuck outplaying both him and Cofield in the same position and he's undersized for it in the first place. Robbins, IMO is a candidate to be released next season. I like him overall, but the Giants may feel they are set with Cofield/Alford and Tuck.
  9. Osi is a reserve. We have the same amount of pro bowlers as Miami and Oakland.
  10. You should always want your team to make the playoffs. Not like last year, when every other NFC sucked so bad that we were "forced" into the playoffs.
  11. Madden said it. "it's windy". No he said "this team is not playing like a playoff team" Because right now this offense has no direction at all. We are not a team that can afford the luxury of 2nd and 1, go long/deep. We just don't have it. Run the ball, run it dammit, Jacobs couldn't catch worth a shit tonight, but he's killing them on the ground. The offense the last few weeks has come to a standstill, against the Eagles, it could be said that we won the game because the Eagles didn't. This offense has to take every opportunity it gets. That includes Eli running for fucking yardage!!!!. Holy shit, twice tonight he had at least 10 yards in front of him to get get the first down and he sets up and throws deep. He's done this shit for years. One of the things lost tonight is that the offensive line did a decent job out there and he got time to throw, and yes, his receivers failed him at times. Toomer was particularly bad and didn't run great routes either. Plaxico is clearly limited. Jacobs was horrible. Only 2 good things came out of tonight's game was that Sinorice Moss was way better than his brother and that Kevin Boss showed some nice poise out there. The defense got slack just after the break, but every time they needed to, they gave the offense a chance by getting the Skins out of there. Fred Robbins continues his revival and Justin Tuck is the man. You have to be encouraged by the 3 rookies in the secondary. Michael Johnson is playing well overall, Dahl has missed some tackles, but he hasn't looked out of place. Ross made a great play on Cooley. Dockery was unlucky on the missed int, but overall this kid has been strong all year. In case you missed it "Punters and kickers hate the wind as much as QB's". Feagles did fine, Tynes missed his field goal and then went crying to Uncle Tom about the wind. Special teams continues to be solid overall and Bradshaw continues to make something out of nothing on those returns. (we got good value out of the 7th round this year when you think of it). It seems clear to me that Coughlin coaches better on the road, not because of the obvious, but he seems all distracted and flustered at home. I wish the Giants would hire that big Wrestler from years ago, Giant Gonzales or whatever, he was like almost 8 feet tall, and give him a Giant windbreaker and tell him that it's his job to way his arms in the air and implore the crowd so as to save Coughlin from doing it. Seriously, if you think I'm joking, why would a coach who is supposed to be worried about what's going on on the field, be worried about the crowd noise. Gilbride running the ball when we're behind as an offensive mix, isn't so bad. It's not running it earlier that should bother people. The look on Shockey's face kinda sums up the Giants right now as a team.

    WIND!

It's windy at Giants stadium, and wind plays a factor in football games. However it really fucks up outdoor badminton. I'm sure John and Al will mention this in the 3rd quarter.
  13. The Giants proved they weren't intimidated by Dallas a few weeks back and it made no difference, Dallas are just that confident and good. I do agree they can beat everyone else.
  14. have fun at the game, do you have a parking pass at least because you can't tailgate unless you have one. It's going to be cold as shit, so dress warm. I'm sure by now that Giants.com sells Giants hunting gear. They were selling tickets on Ticketmaster for the game. Every year when the Giants play the Skins the SKins org do not use their allotment of tickets and they go on general sale.
  15. If Houston had been able to come to financial terms with Reggie Bush, he would have been a Texan, don't kid yourself. They lucked out.
  16. Anthony Wright is 61?. That's wrong, he should be like 59 or 60.
  17. I bleed Cardinals Red.......sorry! I think Zod from Superman bled Giants Blue.
  18. I'll get back on the horse on Monday. It's been a bad week, not real "bad", but just a lot of little "bads"
  19. Ps. sorry about the lack of summary this week. From my fan mail response I see many of you are suicidal.
  20. .........do we sit the regulars, or at least sit some. Just wondering, because it's being going round the talk shows. It was irritating to hear Mike and the Maddog, complain that if the Giants don't play the full team against the Pats, that it would be wrong.
  21. There's about 20-25 teams in the league right now that if he became an unrestricted free agent, they'd have major interest in him...........he sucks so much. I love how upset people get at guys like Shockey because they are emotional and demonstrative. Honestly, it's getting to the point that even with him getting open in the endzone and Manning missing him by almost 2 yards, that Shockey didn't get open enough!. But guys like Witten would have gotten a pass on that. It's tiring, he's a good Tight end.
