  1. Well it is in the Coughlin playbook. Step 1: Be close to being fired. Step 2: Be forced to make coordinator changes. Step 3: Wait optimum time of 4 years. Step 4: Superbowl That my friends is how it's done. Winning!
  2. Like I've been saying. Brady and Belichick should have thanked the Giants for not making the SB.
  3. I think your answer is called the Cleveland Browns.
  4. I would imagine those are the only players that will attend since they have something to prove.
  5. To his credit he tries a better method in the second set and Eli is still first and Dilfer is 7. Winning a SB and only being in 2 playoffs will do that for Dilfer's stats.
  6. With the way he plays it's an unfortunate possiblity. If a safety had been close on that catch he would have been smashed. Circus catches are great until you get rocked on one.
  7. That would be Brady and I am pulling for him to get one last SB.
  8. The streams aren't amazing HD but they do the job enough. I paid for Sunday ticket one year and when I did the calculations for missed Giants games it was about $40 a game. Moral of the story is don't impulse buy.

    LOL

I wonder if Marvin finally loses his job? How many one and done does it take?
  10. Well it was marginal at best and intent is hard to quantify.
  11. Fewell will probably stay. The D is good when there is a competent MLB. I get the feeling the staff will be intact.
  12. Exactly. I'm not saying he's some terrible coach but the posters here constantly give him a pass for bad seasons. How many terrible DCs are hired that aren't his fault? Is he not making any of these decisions? It's always Fewell sucks, Sheridan sucks, Lewis sucks but when does Coughlin suck? When is he accountable for the team?
  13. Not only that I bet Gilbride could have done the same. OBJ is ROY contender so I would imagine many OCs could have turned the O around with that type of talent. Also HCs are a product of their hiring just like in real life management jobs. As has been pointed out apparently Coughlin gets another slide because it's always the assistant coaches fault for all ills. Coughlin apparently plays the office politics game well.
  14. If I were the Raiders I'd offer him the team. Seriously give him a percentage of revenue or something. The guy got a raw deal from the 49ers and it should be interesting to see the fan reaction in 3 years when the 49ers are drafting top 10.
  15. It's looking more and more like a real possibilty. A good showing again against the Eagles and it could be a lock.
  16. Jesus Christ Nem. Did he steal your lunch money or punch a baby? You should have went to a Redskins games so you can heckle him in person. Sit behind the Redskins bench and voice your many grievances.
  17. With a ROY candidate though. When Cruz played like Beckham the Giants won the SB. Gilbride was top 10, top 5 a few times, when teams were setting records. I get that McAdoo gets a pass because it's first year but Gilbride gets throwen under the bus when he had to deal with the same shit. The fact of the matter is that Gilbride is a good OC but had to deal with a lack of talent, just like McAdoo. IMHO the offense would have been a lot more explosive with Gilbride this year.
  18. Really? Cruz seemed to do fine in his rookie season; well second full time season. Nicks didn't take three years either. Comparing Randle or Barden or Moss to real WR is not going to work. Randle isn't doing much better this year either. As Fish stated, I’ll buy into the McAdoo hype when he produces past Gilbride. So far not very promising. This season would have been ugly without Beckham.
  19. Once RG came in the game was a slam dunk. Does that guy ever step into his pockets? It's always 9 steps back and scramble left or right.
  20. I concur that thw Giants are one more year away from blowing everything up. Another dismal year and then there will be house cleaning.
  21. Well the silver lining is posters who wanted more playing time for Moore will get their wish. Nobody left in front of him starting now.
  22. Yeah, probably the most sobering part is each time the Giants land at the bottom. There is no way to put lipstick on this pig.
