I was thinking that same thing last night VG. If we put as much effort in the o-line next off season as we did the D-line this year, and maybe a kick as monster full back, and TE we will be a serious contender.

Thinking about it, maybe Mac wont be anything like we expect. Maybe he is gonna be a bigger change to the team then everyone thinks. Who knows how he is gonna approach this job. Now that Im forced to deal with this, just trying to find a bright side.

How soon we forget Nas. The man has 2 trophies as world champs. That isn't easy to come by. And listening to the players who he brought to greatness, its clear the problems of recent wasn't his fault. Im just praying Reece gives Spags something to work with. If he can do that, I think we might to ok this year.

We as fans owe Mac nothing. He owes us, and he better produce a winner or he's gonna get run outta town. He has big shoes to fill.

I for one am very thankful Spags is staying. Not so much about Mac being head coach. Oh well, all we can do now is wait and see.

The more I think about it, its really a no brainer. Tom is BY FAR the best coach available. Philly is the best team in need of a HC. Id say there is at least a 85% chance we see Tom in green next year. While we are still picking dud FA's and crap lower draft picks, for a man who will be half the coach Tom was at best. Im having a REALLY hard time finding optimism for us in the near or long term. Especially since I was dumb enough to think we'd get Cowher.

We should have never let Tom go. There is no one even close to as good as him available. This is going to prove to be one of the dumbest things the NYG ever did.

Im not making excuses for Eli at all. He does seem to have lost something. Id still love to see him behind a powerful O-line, and actually have a running game. Then again if I had wings I could fly.

Yep, I felt the same way after the game. I think our offense is completely exposed after playing Philly last week. Im only hoping it was just one of those crazy division games, but I doubt it. We really need Cruz to come back. On a side note, I think that Darkwa kid has earned more playing time.

I disagree about Unga. Kids a damn rookie. It will take some time, but I think he's gonna be a awesome MLB. The more playing time he gets now, the quicker he will get to that level.

Amen to that. I saw this as a trap game. The 9ers were in desperation mode, and I think most people knew they were gonna come out fighting hard. Good teams fine a way to win in these situations though. I just hope OBJ and Randle don't miss any time. We could be in big trouble if they have to spend the next 2 weeks on the bench.
