The guy always had a top 5 defense, and nearly always made the playoffs. I think he's smart enough to realise Eli needs to be unleashed. Personaly I think he'd be a great fit in NY.

Yea, that was a pretty dumb thing to say. Sometimes Rolle leaves me scratching my head with the bone head things that come outta his mouth. Never give a team more reason then they have already to win a game. Especialy in the division.

Anyhow, whatever puppet Cowher puts in at DC would be just fine. I personaly think Tom plans to hang it up this year, hence the one year extention. If not though, obviously the best option by far would be to bring Spags back in. Our defense instantly improves 10 fold.

Personaly what I think would be best for Eli is for him to call the plays himself. Eli is the best OC we have on the team.

In defense of Brandons performance, I dont think there are many running backs that would do well the way our O-line has been playing. He was hit several times before he could even get back to the line. Im not one of those fans who think the ship has sunk, far from it. But Id be lieing if I said I didnt see a clear pattern here.

GB had the game in the bag. There was no need to call a pass play. GB's offensive line was seriously pissed at Farve, cause they were able to hold Stray back the whole game. One more run and the game was over.The record is tainted. He is on my list as probably the best Giant to ever play the game though. Him celebrating this victory like that shows just how true Blue this man really is.

I gotta agree with Plax, and Jack on this one. Tiki should get a shot to play. I have no doubt that within a few weeks DC's would have him on thier list of guys to watch out for. I could see him playing 2 or 3 more years, with at least one of those years hitting 1000 yards between running and receiving. He knows what it takes in the off season to prepare for 16 games better then anyone ive ever seen I was mad as hell at him the first year after he retired. But Im over it. If he got a shot (so long as he wasnt in the division) Id root for him.

The one we do not speak of is better then Cruz, obviously. I am exited about Cruz's potencial though. As Im sure everyone here is. Eli and Cruz worked alot together in the off season, and I think Eli trusts him.

I dont know man. Cowher coached a top 5 defense for many years. You get this guy the right OC, and it would be hard to beat this team. NTM the FA's that would be more then happy to play for him. Im all for bring in Cowher.

Good post Z. Having Tuck, Osi, JPP, Tollefson, and Kiwi, really makes me wish we still had Spags. The blitz packages he would play with that line up give me the chills.

Manning had 4000 last year, and has put in some good work with the boys over the last couple months. From what I hear Cruz is kicking ass and taking names. We have as good a shot as anyone, especialy down the stretch when we get a few guys back. Im still alittle pissed about the LBer situation though
