the sad thing is not so much that the team sucks. I have sat through every minute of lots of lost cause games because the players where still worth rooting for. don't hold your breath. This team showed absolutely zero character this year. Blown leads, finger pointing at each other, finger pointing at the coach, guys taking plays off etc. I have no reason to assume that they have somehow discovered maturity in the last week or so.

As much as I liked William James ( nee William Peterson ) let's face it, injuries have ended the guys career. So he has a roster spot with the pigeons. Big Deal. He has appeared in 1 game and has 1 tackle 10 weeks into the regular season. Doubt he will make the pro bowl. and webster has been making steady progress. most of the yards he gave up last week came in the second half when our pass rush dissapeared due to no fresh legs to rotate in there. we are banged up right now and it is hurting but lets not throw the baby out with the bath water

just one game. we get a split on the road with Tenn and Jax and come back relatively healthy for the remaing 3 nfc east games in Dec. season is hardly "over" given how banged up we where we played pretty well. we get a stop on the 3 - 22 at the end of the first half and punt the ball instead of an ill advised field goal attempt in q4 we win that game last night.
