  1. I wondered about that too. And is McCoy banged up? Maybe the 49ers just have a lot of speed on defense, but I saw several San Francisco defenders beat McCoy to the corner yesterday, and beat him badly too.
  2. lol, pretty sure I was ragging on the Eagles vaunted "conditioning advantage" in another thread just this week. They aren't as good as I thought they would be though. I mean, I figured them as an average team in a weak division. 10-6, no problem. But between the officiating gift in Indianapolis, a gift from the always brilliant Jacksonville coaching staff, and the pathetic effort from the Eagles themselves yesterday, I have doubts they're really even average. I go back and forth on them though - seems like every time I question a Chip Kelly decision, he comes up roses.
  3. no, Peters went back in the game. So they were down 4 starters.... still, ouch. Man, that is fucking brutal when all the injuries are at one position like that.
  4. every one?!?... that really sucks. Hows that innovative conditioning working out for them? Are all those riding the Eagles hype still convinced that the Chip Kelly magic would keep the starting 22 on the field for all 16 games again? I'm not laughing at the injuries, just at the analysts that didn't know that the 2013 Eagles were merely an average team with insanely good injury luck. There was no way that was sustainable, just no way....
  5. I thought the Eagles would lose, but they were lucky the game was as close as it was. I knew they were lucky to be at 3-0, but they did not even look like an average team yesterday.
  6. I wasn't always sure who that linebacker was that was getting lost on passing plays, but if you guys say that was Herzlich I believe you.
  7. Anybody who gets to the Super Bowl with Rex Grossman as his QB has earned some points in my book. I'm going to step back from the kool aide... all this game really proved is that the Redskins profoundly suck. And as long as the Giants keep winning, I'm going to keep being a negative ass.

  9. That was one of the finest QB performances I've ever seen, even better than the stats indicate, and its a hell of a line. The INT and several of his incompletions hit the receiver in his hands. Offensive line looked decent too.
  10. I don't care what anyone says, I love me some Lovey.
  11. One would think, but Tampa to Atlanta wasn't much of a commute either. oh shit, my bad. okay, okay... BOLD prediction.... Eli passes for a career high yardage, but the Giants still lose due to special teams miscues and some Reuben Randle jackassery.
  12. I agree. Plus the Thursday road game is killer. Probably not even going to be this close.
  13. About Donnell's fumble, the man's football skills are raw, we know this. But I noticed the next time he touched the ball, he carried the ball in his outside arm; I'm encouraged that the next play out he corrected his mistake from the fumble. Not everybody can correct themselves on the fly like that, its a good sign. He's a big guy, catches with his hands, and shows a lot of agility. He's good enough to win with.
  14. He does flash occasionally, but never more than he did his rookie season. I'm just about ready to give up on him.
  15. another year of virtually no injuries and, either this edition of the Eagles are the luckiest sons of bitches ever, or they really are on to something special in their approach to physical conditioning.
  16. lol, but I thought you said it was their conditioning... drink up man, its delicious! thats a good pick, they look solid. And deep. A lot like Seattle in some ways.
  17. duh, they weren't playing in week 1. I doubt the Eagles look that bad again all season. I'm sure, you're a fan and I'm not. Personally, the quality of my football opinions end the moment the Giants come into it. I trust my eyes on everyone else.
  18. lol, you guys are crazy... Jones had multi year stints with three NFL teams. Paysinger will play for the Giants and his career will end when the Giants cut him.
  19. Hopefully it goes better than Stanton time did.
  20. I saw the 2nd half of the Indianapolis game... did you mean that the officials were spent by the fourth quarter? Because to me, Indianapolis looked like they were still in it and going strong. I'm not sure when he said it, but it was a topic on Mike & Mike this morning.
