  1. CrazedDogs

    EDS

    I'm good with that.
  2. okay, okay.... thats not too bad. I had nightmares of $9 or $10 million per.
  3. I'm worried he could be way overpriced. His name is bigger than his play.
  4. Eli didn't have time, but that's irrelevant. You're advocating for half-assed, egocentric bullshit. In practical terms, NFL defensive backs are good enough to recognize when a guy is dogging it and roll their coverage elsewhere. Happened to Randy Moss all the time.
  5. um... that would mean he has a questionable work ethic. Thats what a work ethic is, doing your job to the best of your abilities, even when you don't want to do it.
  6. I think you guys are overestimating Cordle. Seemed to me there was a huge drop off from a nominally healthy Baas to a fresh Cordle.
  7. LOL.... i.e., every notable white player in the NFL for the last 20 years. All fifteen or so of them. And he's also well-spoken and a good teammate. But obviously not scrappy nor brings his lunch pail to work.
  8. Can't complain about that deal. Good teams are built with guys like him on the fringe of the roster. And who knows, maybe he's still getting some quicks back from from his illness years ago.
  9. Its mostly a function of price. I can't recall though, did Rice have impact injuries or repeated knee ligament damage? If the former, at the right price, go for it. If the latter... the guy is probably done.
  10. Tuck had a good season, first relatively healthy season he's had in a while too.
  11. why are we still talking about the Bowman play? Didn't the 49ers get the ball on the next play anyway, except several yards further downfield? If anything, the refs error worked in their favor.
  12. Yeah, DT was the real choke artist in this game. He played the worst game I've ever seen him play.
  13. I don't think Peyton choked. The first was a poor throw under duress. It happens. the second one was a product of poor blocking and a runningback who couldn't be bothered to come back to the fluttering, deflected pass. Lots of people on the Broncos choked.... I don't think Peyton was one of them. Its not like it was an evenly matched game until he pulled a Romo. That game was over from the first snap.
  14. Good for him. Got to do what you got to do.
  15. nah, I got burned by that shit too. I DVRed it, then it was nothing but 30 min of douchebags on a plane.
  16. .... when he went the right direction. He wasn't above some really ugly mental lapses out there.
  17. He did seem to be running different plays this season too. In prior years his game was predicated on the slant or hooks to the back shoulder/sideline. Barely saw those at all in 2013. I get that teams were sitting on the back shoulder throw because they weren't scared of Nicks beating them deep, but what happened to the slant?
  18. Two words for you: Mike Wallace. And thats all I have to say about that.
  19. oh man, I've been hard on the guy, but comparing him to Albert Haynesworth? thats too far.... I'd almost get a chubby if the Giants could get him for $7 million per. He's that good.
  20. LOL, Sherman has one hell of an act. I'll give him this: he knows how to get his name out there.
  21. yeah, I was surprised how much I enjoyed watching the Eagles offense once Foles took over. (Just as a football fan, of course. As a Giants fan, I was completely disgusted.) But Kelly's offense, well, I think the uptempo stuff is mostly a load of bullshit, but the important thing is he presents the D with nothing but damned if you do, damned if you don't choices. Unlike the Giants read-and-react offense, he's got the Eagles picking a spot to attack and forcing the D to react. Its good stuff... very good stuff.
