They taught him to get his hands/body on the defender, in order to block him. Unfortunately, Glowinski took over as our resident "spin around in a circle and touch no-one" OL blocker. They would be better to go back to the crossed arms technique when linemen could not extend their arms of the 70s and before, if this is what they are going to do. They might be better off with the helmet on helmet straight forward run game rather than the pulling guard trap game they are mostly playing now for the Giants. Nate Solder, Halapio, Chad Wheeler, Cam Fleming, Patrick Omameh, Matt Skura, Spencer Pulley for instance were bad players. No amount of coaching was helping those guys. It's pretty obvious we had bad coaching. But when you see a guy who stops playing after his initial block, that's not coaching, that's him. If he was worth keeping, we'd have signed him. Schoen has shown that he doesn't care about who drafted you, if you're good he's going to try and keep you.
