BlueInCanada
Offensive staff. Could mean positional coach, could mean assistant. Says nothing about coordinator position. Which usually the GM and sometimes the owners sit in on.

He was a good positional coach and was actually a good play caller before he took over the HC duties. They went from soemthibg like bottom of the NFL to top 15 when they gave the playcalling away from Jackson to Kitchens in 2018.
boohyah
With all due respect to kitchens they gave this guy a roster full of assholes and no chance of him picking his own players.
Iceman_NYG
Kitchens is a damn good positional coach - think he was a star RB coach - which is one of the reason he was EVEN CONSIDERED for a HC job in Cleveland. Its quite obvious that HC is just out of his league and he is not ready for that role yet. I for one would be perfectly happy to have him in the coaching staff in specific role. Herc
The browns players loved him when he was coordinator but I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or not
BronxRik
You'll all forgive me if I just don't want anything to do with the Browns, be it current or former.

This is a pretty amazing coaching staff being assembled. Is this a factor of Judge being this respected around the league or is something else going on? 13 year NFL HC with moderate success as the OC. Immediate former HC as, what, TE coach? Two-time college HC with some real success as a positional coach? Just all around a very experienced staff and successful staff at various ranks of football. I am super fucking stoked about this team guys.

I am super fucking stoked about this team guys. The way the Judge talked at the press conference the guy sounds like he could be the world's best salesman. The entire room bought into what he was saying. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same with all of these hires. A lot of them are guys with either previous HC experience or taught at a collegiate level for a long time successfully. That RB coach he got is supposed to be one of the best in the game. If the above turns out to be true (as in the intent behind it I mean - not your words) - then I for one will be fucking stoked! After a very long time (after Coughlin/Spags) will the Giants have a capable coaching staff.

CrazedDogs
I think for Kitchens it's a downgrade.... head coach to position coach in one year. He's a good position coach though.
