Nas
If anything, Manglod is proven and brings veteran leadership to the team.
Lughead
If anything, Manglod is proven and brings veteran leadership to the team. maybe he can show Flowers how to snap his hands up into blocking position instead of floundering around like a wounded albatross. BlueInCanada
I'd bring him in simply because he's a veteran who can really bring some leadership to the offense. Fuck he would start day one at guard. maybe he can show Flowers how to snap his hands up into blocking position instead of floundering around like a wounded albatross. Plus there's this. Maybe if Flowers cant be coached another player can finally get him so play with technique. I've seen better blocking in highschool games than what Flowers bring every week. Treehugger
maybe he can show Flowers how to snap his hands up into blocking position instead of floundering around like a wounded albatross. Maybe we could hire a coach to teach him that?
Tempest
If anything, Manglod is proven and brings veteran leadership to the team. I think we need veteran pro bowl performance more than the leadership. I have a tremendous amount of respect for Nick Mangold and was a huge fan of the move the Jets made to draft him all those years ago. Now he's 33, spent last seasons on IR and has been playing banged up for longer than that. He plays center so I don't see him coming in and starting or excelling at guard. I don't want to move Richburg to guard again, it wasn't his strength. A veteran backup center is nice to have but at what price? Vet minimum is $1 million for Mangold and that is a lot of money for a backup for one position. Especially when the Guard and Tackle positions remain a question mark. Lughead
That would be ideal. Butyou know that won't happen this season. Maybe we could hire a coach to teach him that?

From dollars and cents alone, it seems the Giants plan on having him play RG... The homer in me see this a McKenzie signing...
BlueInCanada
Maybe we could hire a coach to teach him that? He's had two coaches try to teach him that. How many more coaches can they fire/hire for the kid?
