boohyah
Again these guys are solid depth at low cost. Myers had a nice season last year. If they could just lock up Boothe now i'd be happy.
Steitzenhaus
Good posession guy. Agreed on Boothe he's become the new Seubert for this team.
Mr. P
Apparently the guy can't block, lets see what Pope can do with him.
BronxRik
The New York Giants have found their new tight end. NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported Saturday that Brandon Myers has agreed to sign with the Giants. USA Today's Mike Garafolo was the first to report the move. Myers, 27, comes to the Giants following a breakout season in which he led the Oakland Raiders in receiving with 79 catches for 806 yards and four touchdowns. Myers fills the void left by Martellus Bennett, who left for the Chicago Bears after his own breakout campaign. The Giants have had interest in Myers since the start of free agency. After getting an idea of the market, they invited Myers to their facility on Saturday. He walked out with a deal. Myers' production last season was no doubt helped by quarterback Carson Palmer's dearth of downfield options. Still, Myers proved himself a solid pass-catching tight end. Bennett might be a more dynamic talent, but Myers should fill his role admirably. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000151407/article/brandon-myers-agrees-to-deal-with-new-york-giants
Storm
This is my favorite signing. Dan Connor is garbage. Murphy won't see the field.
BlueInCanada
This is my favorite signing. Dan Connor is garbage. Murphy won't see the field. Connor will start which is lol worthy and Murphy is going to replace Hixon. Honestly what do you expect the Giants to do with the FA period with Cruz basically holding the team hostage. KiLLaKyLe
I like him as a receiver, but this guy was graded out as the worst blocking TE in the league. A possible concern on offense could be how the Giants try to recover after losing Bradshaw and Bennett, who were both great blockers for their position. Myers and Wilson are not in the same ballpark when it comes to blocking.
K3VIN
I think Dan Connor will come up big for us this year
Tempest
can't block, won't start. I believe that is the rule for tight ends on the team.
NeMesiS
Great signing if you're trying to get your RB KILLED.
Allstarjim
How many TEs come to the Giants who can't block, and leave the Giants as at least capable blockers? Did you guys forget who our TE coach is? Either way, Robinson will play more if he's the better blocker, and he should.
Bigblue25
From what Raiders fans are saying, his stats are way overrated. He got most of them in garbage time of blowouts. He's not great in the red zone either. I said a few days ago, I wanted him, not so sure now. I am still hoping for Eifert, in the draft

Storm
Not being a great blocker doesn't really concern me...I think we have 2 tight ends that will probably be behind him that can come in and do that job without showing your hand regarding playcall. Pascoe is still a decent option in the pass game and Robinson was a solid pass catcher in college who didn't get many opportunities....

Mr. P
Weird contract structure for new Giants TE Brandon Myers. Four-year contract but last 3 years are voidable. Myers will receive a $1.5M signing bonus, $725K base fully guaranteed + $25K workout bonus https://twitter.com/JennyVrentas
Mr. P
Jenny Vrentas @JennyVrentas Myers' 2013 cap number is officially $1.125M (that's what it is on the books as, not subject to my math)
