BleedinBlue
The Rams, Jaguars, and Bears have all put in claims for Bryan Kehl. Looks like he isn't going to be without a job for long.
Ditto
I sure hope he's not a sleeper. I kinda liked him. Plays hard.
GorillaNJ
He posed for a picture with my son at Giants camp... so he has been a favorite around the house.
BlueInCanada
Shame we let him go, I thought Kehl was going to have a break out year last season. Didn't turn out that way but I would of thought Wilk would of been the one to cut and keep Kehl who has shown more at this point. Oh well guess that's football. Treehugger
It most likely came down to ST play and they're blaming Kehl for the blocked punt on Sunday.
JMFP
He'll hook up with Spags.
BleedinBlue
He'll hook up with Spags. My thoughts exactly. He was a Spag's pick back when he was drafted if I remember rightly and Spags was the first one to put a claim on him when he went on the wire. RandolphScott
He had everything you look for in a linebacker. Speed and Size. Ashame the guys toughness is on par with a cabbage patch doll.
boohyah
Coughlin is calling Spags everytime he's letting someone go. He would be the 6th former Giant on the Rams roster.
JackStroud
this is what happens when you have a lot of good players at a position but no one great my issue is we bring in other peoples dirty laundry and dont develop our own young talent Did Keihl get a legit shot ........... 4-5 games at one position in a row? probably not

Not a very strong point.

Not a very strong point. not what I meant 1-2 are brought in every year......Kivika Mitchell was the only keeper so far, and he got run out of town for asking for 5 million per looking back that was a bargain

JackStroud
my point is that with mitchell our LBer corp was solid since his departure they have sucked $5 million would have been a small price to pay where is he now?

You know what you meant you just didn't pay attention.

hlb37
Mitchel was a decent player in '07. I would say about average for his position. Unfortunately, when you win, all your free agents values go way up. As I recall we had a couple of pretty high profile contracts to get done that off season as well. SB / Buffalo priced him out of the market for us.

Reggie Torbor got a 4 year 14 million dollar deal from the Dolphins for christ sakes. Mitchell got a 5 year 17 million dollar deal.
