Sephiroth
QB/RB/WR - Frank Gifford K - Matt Bahr (the definition of clutch) or maybe Pat Summerall? QB - let the discussion begin. I'd have to go with Simms, but Y.A. Tittle was supposed to be great in his time.

How about Rosey Grier, Andy Robustelli, Leonard Marshall and John Mendenhall for the defensive line....with Strahan and Tuck thrown into the mix. Mendenhall was the most underrated DL we ever had. Carl Banks till he turned chicken and started avoiding plays.
TaylorBanksCarsonVanPelt
Leonard Marshall was a beasttt The Hit That Was Heard Round the World and also ended Montana's 69'er career....compliments of Leonard Marshall.
TaylorBanksCarsonVanPelt
Mendenhall was the most underrated DL we ever had. Carl Banks till he turned chicken and started avoiding plays. Yeah all he had with him (Mendenhall) during the mid/late 70's was Brad Van Pelt, Brian Gregory and the former Egals coach....I can't remember his name...the first Black Head Coach they ever had? Other than those 4 the rest of the defense mortally sucked.
Tempest
Well just for the fun of it I'm gonna put Keith Elias up there. Watching him and Charles Way in the preseason all those years ago still is a very fond memory. Definitely not all pro but Giants in their time. GorillaNJ
What about Sam Huff as Linebacker..... He was before my time, but from what I have heard he defined the position of middle linebacker. Maybe Rodney Hampton as RB
BIGBLUE01
Fullback - M. Carthon. Free Safety - Emlen Tunnel Cornerback - Jimmy Patton Cornerback - Dick Lynch Fuck Mo Carthon! Emlen Tunnel, great choice. And Dick Lynch as well. I'll add Andy Robustelli to the other DE opposite Mike. And I LOVE Toomer, and wouldnt argue if you kept him at WR, but I'd like to put the Gif in there. (Frank Gifford) RB-Rodney Hampton QB- Simms or Manning(Manning may be a little early.) Or Y.A. Tittle. Hell Tarkenten wouldnt be a bad choice.

BIGBLUE01
Did you know the Giants played football before 1998? Thats exactly what I was gonna say. I love Phillipi, know him personally. But I wouldnt put him as the 1st choice for a DB. And as much as I love Osi, not yet at DE.

osi724dasack
Did you know the Giants played football before 1998? Yea but before 1998 the league wasnt as big, fast, strong, and complex as it is today. Thats why most of the guys I picked are more modern.
