BurnThePhilFans
I'm giving him a pass.... FOR NOW... if pittsburg lights him up then there is something wrong. With that said, Webster has been a BEAST... haven't heard his name mentioned at all the last few games... and thats def a good thing. He's shutting people down. Webster seems to have become solid and Ross is getting burnt and missing tackles.
jints
I think that injury to his shoulder is hampering his abilities.
BlueInCanada
I'm saying it's because he is in his first full year of playing. Ross had alot of time off the field during our Superbowl run when we would sub in other CBs for him. This is his first year of being on the field the entire game and I think he is just taken time to adjust to it. I do love the fact that my boy Webster has come into his own, as many people on here know I have stood up for him when alot of people were saying to bench/trade him. I'm not worried about Ross though, last year I think he was playing on athletic ability(that boy is fast) and this year he is having to play with more technique. He will gain better technique in time, theres not to many CBs in the league that have come in from the draft and havent had to adjust to the NFL. Sephiroth
Ross has done a lot more right this year than wrong. Even when he got burnt by Edwards... he had slipped, and had the speed to recover and save the TD (impressive). He's a good one.
Nas
I think that injury to his shoulder is hampering his abilities. Or he just had a bad game or two.. I don't think he's been tested prior to those games either. Any CB can get burned... look at what Plax did to GB in the NFC chamipionship... Allstarjim
I think this week's matchup of Ross vs. Ward is favorable to Ross. Webster can run around with Washington and we are in good shape.
MakeMeSomeFoodHo
Im not worried about Ross, he has been solid. Webster has been unreal.
gateb
sophomore slump... there's no way a player playing that type of position can have it smooth sailing his first few years. Just a speed bump.
