Either than or I`ll try to pull a jumpin jack flash (Aside from the Rolling Stones reference, its a way of putting heroin into your system through your tear ducts, Correct?)

That and then some...the worst culprits are the ones who inject into their crotches or get this ...underneath their tongues. Yeeeoooch! :o

People who do heroin are just plain dumb anyway. Face your problems head on.

Yes, Jam, I called Keith Richards dumb, alert the media.

the giants did everything they could to quit on their coach and get him fired. the proof is in the pudding, just watch the 2nd half of this season. we were a delhomme injury and a tiki barber send off game away from going 0-8 to end the season. so they unintentionally back into the playoffs and yeah, they played hard cuz it's the playoffs--doesn't change the way they played the 2nd half though

Lets see here and dissect how they "quit"

Against the Bears they led 13-3 and allowed a 26 yard draw through the middle of a defense being book ended by Adrian Awasom and Kiwanuka. They led this game 13-10 at half. IMO teams that quit on their coach in games do not usually jump out to large leads. Defenses that are completely undermanned though against good teams usually blow leads though.

Against the Jags they were jus flat out beat by a physical team at home. A team that also beat the Jets 41-0 at home. Saw no quit in that game, saw some stupid plays, but no quit.

Titans, hmm again a 21-0 lead, so I guess the theory is they build a huge lead and then quit so it makes it look worse?

Dallas? They quit that day? held a 4th quarter lead and like today could not make stop when it counted and lost as the clock expired.

Carolina, oh wait they won that game because Delohomme was hurt. Sorry, I guess they scored 27 points by accident

Eagles, again quit in the best way right, built a 4th quarter lead and yet again could not make a stop.

It could probably be determined at some point they gave up in the NO game.

You theory of a Delhomme injury and Barber send off game is assine as it gets, I could say we were a missed Gramatica FG or a Kiwanuka sack away from a win. It is what it is, there are no disclaimers as to either way.

This team did not quit, want to question Coughlins decison making and in game management then go right ahead, I totally agree, but the team did not quit.

I do not necessarily want Coughlin back, but I also have to know that a more accomplished HC is replacing him, not some flavor of the week coordinator.

He is a walking advertisement against drug use period. You don't get to look like him on a pure horse diet. Crystal methamphetamine is my guess. Take a look at his teeth (Brit dental hygiene sucks anyway so it will be hard to tell), but crystal meth destroys the salivary glands and saliva holds down 99% of the bad bacteria in our mouths. Without that suppression you get massive tooth decay and gum disease. One of the easiest ways to pick out a long term crystal meth user is that they have slaughterhouse breath....also look at a lot of the so called trailer park "Amateur" Porn...crystal meth makes you super horny and you don't get that kind of bad teeth from injesting too much nut batter.

you could say whatever you want, but you're arguing wins and losses, I'M arguing about their effort and HOW they lost and WHY they managed to squeak out two wins in the 2nd half. the team flat out sucked in washington, tiki was a one man show, it's pretty obvious to anyone who was paying attention

you sound like a desperate man. it's incredibly obvious this team quit on him. through the play, their body language, their off the record quotes, and even some on the record quotes from multiple players.

2-6. there's a central theme in most of those losses too, when the going got tough they quit. thanks for illustrating that game by game for me.

and why are you surprised that these players are saying one thing on the record and one thing off the record? you've been watching sports long enough to know better

cofield pushing runyan was what did it for me. It really put an official not just wanting coughlin gone, but a hatred for coughlin. If it's not one guy, it's the next. It's one thing when it's one guy whose struggling. But when it's some one random guy each week who does something with no discipline and has a bonehead play, then it's time for the coach to go.

This team with no discipline, running on just pure talent almost beat a disciplined team on the road. Now imagine if we had a head coach who thought about things, tried to seriously win, put his personal vandettas aside, and actually outcoached some one. We would win the super bowl.

If belichick or parcells gets out on the market. I dont care what it costs, get them here now.

the eli one? yeah i saw it, today's article was one of the few that didn't piss me off

I`ve always got the feeling Lupica was the last one picked in Gym class, so he decided to become a writer

to get back at the people who hated him.

Yeah, but Keith had bad teeth in the early 60s. I know he was a big coke and H guy, never though it was Crystal Meth though.

Think what you want, but Coughlin will lose his job.

Back to back playoffs mean nothing when you lose out in the first round, or when you back in at 8 and 8.

And yeah maybe the whole team didn't quit on TC, but some of the players did. They let the media know as much, regardless of what they're saying now. They have to show an effort out there or they'll lose their own jobs, TC or no TC.

well I listened to the post game on WFAN and heard guys like Carl Banks, Dave Jennings and Dick Lynch say the team did not quit on their coach and that was evident. These guys not only are around the team, they played the game and know a hell of a lot more than the rest of us ever will. Banks kept asking callers the same question, who is the replacement? I will say it again, I do not want the coordinator of the week, I want an established HC. If not and they chose to keep this guy, then its time he ends his stubborness and gets a good support system around him, ex Hc's as coordiantors is a good place to start.

I was praying ....literally praying that there would be no retaliation. Pathetic. :brooding:

I don't think the players quit, I think that each game that team goes out there with the notion in their head that they are as good as the opposition and there's good reason for that because the Giants team is comparable to the top tier teams personnel wise. What happens is simply when things go bad on the field and the team needs a boost on the field, they simply can't get it from this coaching staff. And you can see it on the sidelines, they are simply looking lost. Good coaches can get their teams going again.

That said, Tom needs to go, but I don't think he's going, coordinators will be removed and they should be. But things aren't going to get better until Tom leaves.

so you are willing to give a divisonal opponent a first round pick for a coach who may not be around more than three years? No thank you I will pass.

BB, thats a different story.

I don't think it's that Coughlin has lost the team, I think it's just that he's poorly coached.

If bringing Coughlin back meant us getting Cowher in 08, then I'll happily do that. But we just don't know at this point.

You lost me kid who exactly is coughlins, er....umm... head coach? :LMAO:

In two years, under Colonel Coughlin, we are no more discipline than under Papa Fassel. Letting him go for an up and coming assistant would be no big loss. Coughlins' no.1 commodity was supposed to be discipline. 2nd special teams. We sucked at both for two years now.

TC is old and needs to retire.

agreed, but I think a better support system could help with the problems we encounter in the spots you are talking about.

they didn't quit today, i agree. it's in their best interest to win in the playoffs, just like it was in tiki's best interest to have a monster game against the 25th ranked defense in football if it was indeed going to be his last. that was no accident and i'll bet everything i own he didn't do it to save tom's job, he did it for tiki--not that i blame him. but the difference between an average team and a good team is a lot of extra effort and good coaching when talent alone isn't enough--and i didn't see either of those things, particularly in the 2nd half

Kevin Gilbride is a former HC, so that theory doesn't always work, and no I wouldn't give him a year with his own playbook, he's not been a good coach in general.

Yeah most Brits have bad teeth....its part of their genetic makeup or something. :P But were there not always rumors of Keith having this super prowess at banging broads...a living wreck like him should not be able to get it up...but people who take crystal meth early on are sex maniacs who cannot get enough. Whatever he does/did he is a walking advertisement against drug use. :P:TD:

i dont want a bad coach either, but as mangini and peyton have proven this season the hot coordinator isn't always a bad idea. i, too would feel much better with an established successful head coach buti'd rather give a cam cameron a shot than give coughlin another season.

back to coughlin, this game epitomized his tenure. ridiculous penalties and a bunch of players on the IR and not playing--the two problems he addressed and vowed to fix at his hiring press conference
