  1. I know what you mean....but I just watched Everson Walls jump up and down....and then I jumped up and down.....and the rest is history.
  2. Sorry Kid....I should have put a 25 instead of that second 21. 25 and the last SuperBowl are my favorites. Though I enjoyed all of them.
  3. The problem with Tarkenton was that they had to trade away half of the team/draft to get him. He had no players around him to exploit his talents.
  4. To tell you the truth even though 21 was our first SuperBowl; I still enjoyed 25 and our recent SuperBowl win more than I ever enjoyed 21. Why? Because we were expected to kick ass and take names that year. Anything less than a Championship in 85-86 would have been considered a failure
  5. Listen I have been f'ing supporting this organization back before they traded away half the team and draft prospects for Fran Tarkenton. Hell I was born a year after your last playoff experience in 63' and had to wait till the year of my graduation for your first playoff experience in 18 years. Endured tons of torment from carpet bagging Brokeback, 69'er, and/or StealerWhiner fans for following BigBlue during the years described previously. If that doesn't make me a VIP than what does?
  6. Reports are that Olivea is done for good. Most likely will take an injury settlement. Chronic back pain was probably the reason why he got involved with the pain killers in the first place. Too bad for him.
  7. I was one of them. And I have to say that the playoff run was some of the best officiating that I have seen since Jerry Markbreit started calling holding penalties on the 69'ers and Broke Backs in the late 80's. Before that in my opinion they had at least 1-2 free drag downs per game.
  8. They probably have him projected as a center; that is probably why they listed him that way. At only 280 lbs...that is the only line position he can safely play without worrying about him being steamrolled in the NFL.
  9. Fuck I remember watching Tarkenton, Pisarcik, Golsteyn and other fucks run out there and lose. Eli is the real deal....flawed...but still the real deal. I could care less about pre-season as long as we avoid any "JASON SEHORN INCIDENTS" they could lose all of them. Game 1 of the season is when its for real. Plus I don't want all of the fancy stunts and curls shown by either the defense or offense during pre-season anyway. Why make it easier for other teams to game plan you when all you should be doing is evaluating personnel?
  10. Rosie' Brown nor Rosie Grier.....man too many young ' ins here.
  11. Jesus that is a name I hope never to hear again....Walker Gillette.
  12. Favre nut hug. lol such a way with words Seph. Great way of describing the media circus that is F-A-V-R-E.
  13. I agree with everything except for three things. Huff finally sat down with the Mara's last year prior to Wellington dying and there was a genuine forgiving of old hurts by Huff. Agree with you on Banks even though I love him he sure ran with The Prostitute...don't leave out Bavaro, Meggett and a few others. Carson woke up thinking about the Giants and went to sleep thinking about the Giants. I give him the nod because Giff only played during the era when the Giants were competing for a title just about every year and went to the big show often. Carson came in when we were getting our asses kicked left right and sideways. Plus he went through some mental health issues while a Giant and overcame them. So he is my vote....Giff is a close second. One thing I love about Giff is that he is a Giants homer, but when he was announcing you would never know it as his professionalism was paramount.
  14. Jesus....I saw one Sports Bar in Harrisburg...my Brother lives in Dillsburg about a half hour away....I wish I could remember where exactly it was? Check out the downtown (what little of it there is); it is probably there or close to the river near where the lawyers and gov't offices are. Good luck.
  15. Nice pics dude. Start em off young and right is the way to do it. Then they grow up into lifelong Giants fans. Great pic of the trophy too.
  16. Of course his first hour on the field he overdoes it to show that he is fully recovered from an injury that he clearly is not and thereby pulls muscles not used to the extra load at this point. What a hole...Ccase better get ready for no more than 10 games out of this guy.
  17. Do it like the eunuchs who used to serve the Manchu Emperors....store them in a box....you might get them back if things don't work out.
  18. Now...now...Cuzzin don't be gettin inta no give or take here...nots good for yer pressure. At least yer not a fan of dem Damn Yankees. And I must say after my Metropolitans choked their collective asses out of the playoffs last year you were quite gracious in your sympathy and did not gloat overmuch.
  19. Well said...and love the dry presentation. Shaken and not stirred. LOL!!!
  20. Don't forget Shockey....ALL SHOCKEY ALL OF THE TIME. They still have that huge Shockey billboard that you can see on the northbound side of the Major Deegan in the Bronx, the exit before Yankee Stadium. LOL. I think its for Powerade and he is wearing some generic blue uniform.
  21. And T.O. will cry again because Romo always wants to be in the middle taking and giving the punishment while T.O. is stuck being the Little Engine Who Takes It...and takes it...and takes it.
  22. AGREE 100%. These are your team mates asshole. Save the kill shots for the games that count. If I was his coach I would bench that stupidity right out of him real quick.
  23. Yeah I thought about Carpenter too....what about short legs Doug Kotar....chasing after Herman Edwards after The Fumble would have to be the lowest point in anyone's sports life. He deserved a SB big time.
