  1. Right... whatever. Walk and/or sign. Did I write whatever?
  2. You want to be playing in NY, LA, DC, Miami and/or Dallas to ensure you post season exposure. As far as TV goes you can't miss with NY, LA and DC. Money from the sky. Fuck San Diego. Didn't the basketball Clippers leave that place as well? Don't care enough to look and/or know really. That is a huge problem for most of these second tier places... New Yorkers could not care less about what they do and/or don't think. It is like the wind blowing the rain. It exists and you just wear a rain suit or use an umbrella. Normative people don't rail at it.
  3. For sure... you also would hear tons about their ersatz LT... Ladalian Thomlimson and or some shit. Not the real LT Lawrence Taylor, the best defensive player in the NFL ever that changed the game forever. Chef's Kiss. I spent a year in San Diego for my first incomplete PhD in psychology. It is a great town/city with a huge inferiority complex. Decent beaches, a kick ass zoo, roads to nowhere with a border to Mexico... just wanted to be LA so bad... with Navy ports and a Marine base all up in their ass. San Diego just bites otherwise.
  4. I love football... voluntary means you better be there.... 9:00 AM means you had better get there at 8:30 AM and you are late by 8:45 AM. Just plain ridiculous. If he does the latter, I would let him walk. Not now. It is just a distraction.
  5. This... I want the best available athlete at 6...
  6. Yep the days of the pocket passer are so done right now. It could still be done around the early 2010s but that chicken is done now. Guys have to move and move well to avoid pressure. They also have to be able to read into third options and improvise. Whether that is running and/or preferably throwing it to the hot receiver. I would prefer getting the best available athlete and getting a QB in the late first round and/or high second round. None of these guys are can't miss to me. Seen too much football to be spurned at the altar for a lot of these cats.
  7. What happened is that Eli told the Chargers he did not want to go there. They agreed both sides to keep the rejection quiet. Then the Chargers up and draft him so as to extort extra picks from the Giants. It happens all of the time and fuck the Charger fans...
  8. Haiti and Colombia its a musical transaction...
  9. Also bullshit Chargers fans there was only one LT and that was and is Lawrence Taylor. Your ersatz LT don't mean shit outside of that bs city called San Diego. The Chargers even left your asses...
  10. Chargers fans just love the fact they won nothing with Rivers yet we have two rings over Brady's Patriots with Eli... oh well they can go to their graves with that stuff.
  11. Wow I remember him. After a bad head coaching gig... these guys would do well to disappear into Division I and/or better Division II football in college. Careers that last 15-25 years by just being ex NFL and staying quiet.
  12. Arbitrary views of what it is and how it will be applied. PI and holding writ large...
  13. I went to school with a Boykin... any relation he is probably mediocre...
  14. I worked ten years from 1996-2006 for ACS New York City child welfare and the stories could be mind numbing. My Ex Battle Ax was big on it.... but I dissuaded her from it. It is rife for dealing with disturbed kids.
  15. He is just being realistic and knows what he is coming to. I think that is a good thing to tell you the truth. As long as he is not the next Toney I am fine with his responses... and the "off field bullshit". Tired of the Giants looking for Boy Scouts. It is like armies looking for priests and nuns during a war... you may find them but do you want them. LT probably snorted more cocaine than the next ten people combined but he was the best player ever for the NFL. Changed the game all by himself. He was so good that the Giants got rid of Brad van Pelt, and Gregory who were good inside linebackers for the Giants and were perceived by management as negative drug influences on LT. The team wanted Harry Carson (top notch ILB in 3/4 system) and Harry Martin (great DE in a 3/4) and a good soldier as LT's main influences. Ancient history from 1981 onward that is forgotten. Knowing now.... van Pelt and Gregory were probably just convenient scapegoats and turned LT on to where he could score rather than the ones who "influenced" him to where he could score.
  16. I like Odunze more but would be happy with a Nabers. I would be happy with a top tier QB. I see pick six as a great opportunity to get the best available athlete as in the old days.
  17. Nice impactful story line. Here's hoping for him.
  18. That was the famous draft. Elway and Marino were worth it... the rest were mediocre.
  19. He seems to be getting a really close look. He may go higher than expected.
  20. This... take a shot... and he will be paired on the opposite side from Thibs and Dex. It is up to Dex and the LB's to stop the run.... and the edge guys to contain. I think this will help Thibs as well as Burns. I think this is an upgrade reminiscent of the early lines that Spags had.
  21. For sure... football at that level is a violent and unforgiving sport. I would rather have three years of beautiful QB play as opposed to six years of nothing.
