  1. $1.3 million. Not bad, hopefully he'll take it to the next level.
  2. Keyshawn has said he expects to play 1-2 more years and then retire. He's not unhappy about the Panthers cutting him, he expected it. I see Keyshawn ending up with someone like the Colts/ Chargers or Bears, someone who's not far away from winning it all, he's not going to a loser right now.
  3. Nas, why would I want to get a guy to supplement our supposed top receiver. Think about it for a second. If Shockey or Toomer can't do it, how would Keyshawn do it. Everybody hates on Plax and true he's not a great receiver, but there have been many games where he's done well, there have been many passes overthrown towards him where he's going up and caught it and made a play out of nothing. And for every play "he gives up on", he's been seen throwing blocks for Tiki on running plays. I don't condone throwing hands up Nas, but for fuck sake let's face facts here, sometimes Eli throws shitty passes and a lot of times he doesn't even notice the open receiver. You might throw your hands up also if you run 30 yards every play only for your quarterback to ignore you. By the way, not only do Shockey and Plax throw their hands in the air, Tiki did it, Toomer does it, and Coughlin does it and no-one says shit about it. It's really time for people to stop with that nonsense, it's such a small small factor.
  4. Not now. I've always liked Keyshawn, but he wouldn't deserve a roster spot over the 4 guys we have now. He will play though, he's still got some game left.
  5. You do have a problem with me don't you?
  6. Not sure I like the idea at all.
  7. I admit that I also take money from agents to boost their clients on message boards. Robert Gallery's agent is still pissed at me.
  8. I hate the idea someone is wearing 89 not named Bavaro.

Please make note how I honored you in my sig.
  10. It's not at all hard to believe he's still available. He's a prick who's not talented enough to have his talent cover up some of his "prickness".
  11. Miami passing on Quinn was just dumb. That franchise is so fucked up these last few years. They knew Harrington sucked and they knew Culpepper was hurt and they still went out and got them. Now they can't get rid of Culpepper. Beck better be the second coming.
  12. Kiper is an ESPN creation. Once a year they bring him out and blow him up. I was watching him mon the broadcast and he was yelling at guys on the set. Does he even bat 500 on these picks, no.
  13. Second half of the season last year Madison was fine. Webster is in his second season and deserves a third to prove himself. Again, I don't have a problem with the pick, however before the draft we had a good idea who could be our corners for next year. We didn't know for sure who our weakside and strongside linebackers were.
  14. I still think Al Wilson will pass our 2nd Physical. Jerry Reese: "okay Al lets start, pick up that pen" Wilson: "okay, done, what now?" Jerry Reese:"Okay, sign your name here at the bottom of this incentive based contract" Wilson: " (writing) done, what now Mr. Reese" Reese: "Al, congrats, you've just passed your physical!"
  15. "And if we have to play him out there, we will be okay. Don't forget Guy Whimper. I think Guy Whimper is a good football player. I think he is going to be a very good football player at left tackle. So don't discount Guy Whimper as a left tackle." Jerry loves saying "Guy Whimper".
  16. I don't mind getting Ross, or Wright for that matter. But I don't see us saying we're moving Gibril to corner because he's a good athlete. I would have rather us get the guy in the first round that fills the postiion we needed the most help in (linebacker)
  17. I wouldn't have liked that move either. Furthermore, last year we were decimated with injuries at defensive end. Tuck, Osi and Stra were all out for long periods last year. Unless they are planning on bringingin some defensive end free agent from somewhere as backup, I don't think this move makes sense. But hopefully I'm wrong.
  18. On a serious note, I hate this idea. When you draft a guy with the idea that one day he'll be your starting DE, you don't switch him around like this. He could very well be great in the position, but to me this just smacks of "we didn't draft correctly like year". There were at least 2 linebackers at 20 when the Giants drafted yesterday. maybe you should have gotten one then????
  19. I hope this gets Plax and Shockeys ass up to camp from Miami so they can catch those field goal misses!!
  20. This was a solid draft all the way round. I'm a little bummed at no linebacker in the first and when you look back at it perhaps they could have traded down for Ross. But all the positions got covered and it looks like some of the later rounds we could have some sleepers. I'll say a B.
  21. I say tough in terms of, can he take a hit, sure?. Has he gotten hurt since he got here, no. Mental toughness is something that Phil Simms had, Joe Montana had, Elway, Peyton and Tom Brady. These are the type's of players that as a player you knew that he was going to lead you during the tough times. Eli hasn't done that cept for 2-3 games.
  22. I think I'm the guy who Nas is talking about. I've also said that the Giants did not make a mistake getting eli over Ben and Rivers because in college Eli was the better QB. However I did want us to draft Robert gallery.
  23. Easy J, the guy is going into his second season. Maybe next season he's ready to start.
  24. Nothing wrong with this pick at all. Good solid receiver. Guys who played second fiddle at USC these last few years have been good players and played in a pro style offense. We needed a wideout and we got him.
